Lilly walked into the pierre bar cooly, full of confidence. There was bound to be someone her eto have fun with, because turthfully, that is what she need right now, to let go, to completely let go and get away from her evil mind, who kept bringing up that horrid day that Ben died. She still couldnt get the look of his face out of her mind, it still haunted her
She shook off the bad vibes that she was feeling herself giving off. If she kept thinking this way, no one would want to even be near her. She smiled at the bar tender, he was pretty cute. "Havnt seen you around in a while," he said before pouring her a martini, like hse had every time she came down to the bar at the hotel that she lived at a few months ago, until her father bought the duke mansion on fifth avenue. She couldnt lie, she loved the place. seven floors, one all to herself all the way on the top? she loved it. But she didnt know why her dad bought the place when he was never there, well, she could partly under- stand it, to look so famous and rich that he could by a fifty million dollar home. She shrugged at it, it didnt matter to her as long as she got her space. Which she got plenty of these days. Her dad barely noticed when she went on her little trip back to wasilla. Oh, now those were crazy times, and terrible times.. She started to think of when some vally guy almost got into her pants. She shook her head smiling, he wasnt able to. No one had been able to get into her pants, she wasnt a prude, just none of the guys she met seemed....right. She liked the guy she met at the beginning of her time at the parthenon, but he all but dissapeared then there was Leon, now he seemd just right for her to let into her life, well, that portion of her life. She smiled at the memory of the night at the club that had been cut short.
"Yeah, we moved," She all but purred in her voice, that was often described as a whiskey voice. The bartender was difinitly going to be hers, that is, if she wanted him, but she let go, not wanting a random fling, because she was not that kind of girl.
She sighed and set her drink down, only to pick it up again, and down it. She ordered another, ignoring the baretenders puppydog eyes tword her. She hated that she did that sometimes. The next drink she took slower, drinking it in sips as her eyes scanned the crowd. T A G : open O U T F I T : this M U S I C : im not an angel - halestorm W O R D S : 453

Sydney walked into the bar after a long day at school. She had no idea about anything. All that she knew was that she was exhausted from school and needed to calm down. She walked over to the bar and ordered a simple soda. She was not in the mood to even think about alcohol. She sat thinking about everything she had learned in class that day and started to get a headache. She stopped thinking about it and took a sip of her drink. She thought some more about everything in the world. Anything and everything she could think about without giving herself a headache thinking about it. She finally came back to reality and realized there was a woman sitting near by alone. She made a snap decision and walked over. "Hey." A simple hello and a smile. She always found that worked best.

Lilly was snapped out of her little thinking mode when someone saud hey to her. She spun around to see a quite lovely girl standing there. Lilly opened her eeys a bit wider. This girl want normal. No, there was something about her, something wild. But Lilly was the last person to jusge based on what a person was, so she smiled at the girl, unsure weather to hold out her hand or not, and decided against it. It was far to formal for meeting someone on the Pierre bar.
"Hello," She said simply, unsure where the conversation would go.

"What are you doing here? It seems as if everyone knows you all too well already." She thought for a moment on what she should say next. Debating on all the different things that could be said. She already knew that the woman was beautiful and that there was a possibility of anything in a bar. "By the way. I am Sydney." She said after finally deciding what to say next.

Lilly laughed a small bit. "I um, i used to live here, at the Pierre, so thats how they all seem to know me," She said a smile on her face, not the 'Lilly' smile, but a smile nonetheless. She heard the girls name, as she introduced herself. "Im Lilly," She said. She looked down to what sydney was drinking. "You came to the bar for a soda?" she asked, a friendly smile playing on her lips. "this is what i come for," she said holding up the drink that the bar tender refilled. he was hoping that he would get more attention from her, she did not think that he would. "if you ever decide to have adrink here, make sure you try one of these," she took a drink out of her glass. she'd been drinking quite often lately, not alot, but often enough to worry herself about it. She gauged the girls age to be around hers. "You go to the parthenon?"

"Umm, no. I got to NYU. I got into the early acceptance program." As she said this she knew quickly thought about all the reactions from students on campus hoping this girl's would not be the same. She was tired of being one of the only students that people thought to be a child, when she was no where near maturity wise. She was more mature than her father sometimes. Though that was never difficult.
As she spoke, she relaxed a little more inside. No one ever saw it, or even thought about it, but she always seemed to be nervous being in a new place with new people. She was always excited to try new things, but never excited about new people or places.

She took a second look at the girl. She seemed to be quite young, but Lilly knew more than anyone that appearances could be wrong. She smiled. "You must be very smart then," She said thinking about her future. "It must be nice to know where your future is going," She said a hint of a sad smile on her face. She was not even sure where she was going to be next week. Everything was so hecktic and scattered. She longed for when life was simple. She would wake up, get ready for school, and ride there on her vesba. She sighed, life wasnt as simple anymore. She pulled herself out of yet another one of her little thoughts. "So, how do you like it here in New york so far?" She asked her, genuinely interested.

Sydney smiled. "I am smarter than some give me credit for, and not as smart as some expect me to be. It can get a lot more complicated than it should be. For anyone." Her smiled kind of faded and became a half-smile. She quickly thought for a moment.
"I would not know how it feels to know where my future is going. I am someone that acts on a whim. More than once my friends in Washington used to compare me to Rome Montuge. I can be one of the most emotion people in the world and never think about anything more than once, though all I do sometimes is think. It confuses them beyond belief." Her smile came back strong again remebering her old friends. "So, no I have no idea what I am going to do after I graduate NYU." Her smile became a half-smile again thinking about what all the friends she had at NYU thought of her not knowing what she was going to do after graduation.
"New York is magical and amazing and everything I expected and so much more. I love it here."

Im in the same boat with you then," She said setting her drink down, sighing. "I mean, I'm about to graduate in the next year, and I have no idea about where I'm going to go after high school, just, blah," She said. She crossed her legs the opposite direction, to better face Sydney. "I mean, how did you know that you wanted to go to NYU?" She placed her hand on her knee. "I dont know how you could already have it planned out, college at least," She smiled then, the future was a scary thing for her, she didnt even know what tomorrow would be like, and that kind of scared her.

She smiled glad to be talking about something she loved. "Well, I didn't think about it. I just knew. There was something about NYU that I wanted. I am majoring in performing arts and minoring in business, so knowing that I wanted to do that helped me make NYU an option, but I honestly have no idea why NYU? I think the question might be why not NYU?" She smiled turning her body in the seat so she could comfortably face Lilly.

She smiled at Sydney.
"You, are so lucky. I wouldnt know what my future was going to be if it bit me in the face," She said, letting out a small laugh. "I mean, i would love to sing, but, there are so many other people out there who can sing, and i mean, why me? why would i get a chance to do this?" She sighed, still smiling.
She scanned the crowd, a habit of hers while she sipped on her drink.
"Mmm, so, Sydney, where did you move from?" She said, genuinly wanting to know about the girl. She was so interesting. Well, Lilly found anyone with an Aura like that interesting. It was so...complex, so tangled, so...Wild.

Sydney smiled. "Well, there is more to it than just singing. You have to really be able to enjoy it, even with all the work that goes into it. There is so much out there in the world of music, you could probally do just about anything if you talked to the right people."
She thought for a moment if she should tell Lilly more, and decided that she was very nice and that there was no point in hiding that.
"I came from a small reservation in Washington."[

"Yes Grandmum I'll take care of it." Gioia said haughtily into her phone. It wasn't like Gioia wanted to be the little errand girl but that's what she got for living with her grandparents. So instead of going to get those shoes that were sitting in the window, Gioia had to go to the Pierce Hotel Bar to pick up the contract from the actress her grandmother wanted for the latest Broadway show she was producing. "Yes I'll be home for dinner. Bye." With that Gioia clicked the end button on her palm pixi.
The raven haired young woman walked straight into the bar looking for the agent. Gioia knew just what he looked like because he kept trying to get to sign on his agency. It always ended with her laughing and saying she was no actress. She walked right over to him sitting at the bar. "Please and thank you Paul," she said giving him the small little smile that she gave whenever she wanted something from someone. Once he handed her the envelope with all the papers signed, Gioia put it straight in her Coach bag.
Her eyes scanned the bar seeing if she knew anyone and could possibly stay for just a little while. Not to far down the bar she spotted Lilly with a girl she didn't recognize at all. Gioia made her way over to the girls with a smile. "Didn't figure I'd find you here Lilly." Gioia said as she tilted her head to the left looking at the girl sitting next to Lilly. "I'm Gioia, I go to school with Lilly." The slender hand extended from her arm offering a hand shake. A smile became painted across her face.

As Sydney was waiting for Lilly's response another woman walked up. Sydney smiled. Great. More people. I am terrible with people! Why do they keep coming over?! I guess I was doing fine with Lilly and I can do just as well with her. Sydney took Gioia's hand and shook it. "My name is Sydney. I am a student ar NYU. Nice to meet you."

Gioia smiled again at Sydney. "It's a pleasure to meet you Sydney." Her hand retracted back to her side after shaking Sydney's hand. "NYU, really? Wow, what's your major?" Gioia asked being curious. Her blue eyes looked the girl up and down trying to figure out about how she was. Gioia figured she was a freshman at NYU since she didn't look that much older than Gioia. "I've been looking into NYU for after I graduate but I'm not sure if I want to stay in New York after school. I've thought about maybe moving to Los Angeles or Miami."
A smile came across her face as the bartender came up to her. "Hi there, I would like a seven seven. Please and thank you." After ordering she turned her attention back to Sydney. She didn't want to be rude even though most of the time she was rude to her classmates. After all she was part of the "Bitches of Eastwick." And bitch was usually Gioia's middle name. But for right now she decided to put her bitchiness on the back burner. "I'm sure you get asked this a lot but you originally from New York or from some just a little bit different?"
