It's Phoebe first day back at work. After months of jet setting, she was actually happy to be back home. Though that doesn't mean she didn't thoroughly enjoy her trip to several amazing places. When the school asked her to join Brianna Ackart and Olivia Landon as they traveled to several continents around the world, she immediately said yes. It was a once in a life time trip and she wasn't going to pass up that chance. She got to see the pyramids in Egypt, the great wall of China, got to eat thai food in Thailand. She took a ton of photographs to remember her trip and even stuck a few in her bag to show off to her class and coworkers. Phoebe stepped through the doors of the Parthenon and took in the familiar scene. It was like she never left. The students were in the halls chatting about god knows what. It just made Phoebe grin. The only thing that was sightly different was Phoebe, herself. She usually wore some kind of modest outfit that kinda made her seem like a librarian. Today though, it was going to be different. Her spirits are high after her trip and she was dressed like it. Her hair had grown longer during the trip and she wore it down today with a curly wave to it. Phoebe decided to wear a purple satin Dolce & Gabbana dress that she got from Brianna while in Italy. The girls went on a shopping spree there and so Brianna offered to pay for their things (Phoebe knew it wasn't right to get gifts like this from students but come on...Dolce & Gabbana!) Phoebe set into the Teacher's Lounge before class and was greeted by her co-workers. She smiled and thanked them for all of their warm welcomes. As she walked in further, she noticed a little welcome sign and a small cake that read "Welcome Home". It was a sweet gesture though she couldn't help but look around for a certain professor. Before her trip she had a date with Mr. D. It ended so well but she wondered if he still thought around her after being awhile for months. Phoebe was handed a plate with a piece of cake. She took her plate over to an empty table and began eating it. OOC: Dress; shop.nordstrom.com/S/3043531/0~2376780~6021632~6006564~6006565?mediumthumbnail=Y&origin=category&searchtype=&pbo=6006565&P=4

Mr. Demonte hated parties, so the sight of a memo on his desk really annoyed the shit out of him. But upon opening it and reading it through, something changed. Phoebe was coming back. She had disappeared for a few months going on a trip with some students. Demonte just figured what ever they had before was nothing and got over it. Judging by how his stomach flipped over as he re-read the memo, he never really moved passed it. So today they were holding a Welcome Back party in the teacher's lounge, and when normally Mr. D. would avoid the place, he was sure as hell going.
After making a quick stop in the teacher's only restroom to check his hair and adjust his tie, he headed to the lounge. He didn't know why he was walking so fast, or why exactly he felt so warm. The other teachers in the room either made no notice of his entrance, or made sure to avoid him at all costs, obviously knowing of his bad attitude. He didn't care about them anyway. Making his way to the back, he grabbed a soda from the refreshments table and leaned against one of the bookcases in the back of the room. He sipped his drink, thoughtfully. What would he say to her when he saw her? More over, would she even want to talk to him? Snap out of it, he thought. Women love you. Demonte tried his best to shake his nervousness.
And then she walked in. Long hair. Short dress. Damn. Mr. Demonte's eyebrows disappeared into his luckily non-receding hairline. Phoebe was looking god damned sexy. He couldn't even remember her looking this good before she left. What changed? Hell if he knew. She was so much different from any of the students he pined after. There was a certain something about her that he just couldn't put his finger on. With a deep breath, he tossed his empty cup into the garbage and headed to the front of the room where the woman he was after stood.
"Phoebe..." William said as he approached her. There was a pause where he just stood there for a minute staring into her eyes. "You're back."

Phoebe had been sitting at her table for a moment and had taken only one bite of her cake when she felt someone approach her. She figured it was just another teacher asking about her trip. Though once she spoke she knew exactly who it was. She could never have forgotten his voice. "Phoebe... She kept her eyes on her cake as she finished chewing and swallowing it. She looked up and locked eyes with him. It felt like they stood like that for a moment longer than they should. You're back." A small smile appeared. He was just as handsome as she remembered him. It was that intense stare that captivated her. "Yup, I'm back. Back home...it's good to be back. " She chuckled and motioned to the empty chair in front of her. "Wanna sit? I must say Im surprise you are even in here. I thought you hated the teacher's lounge. " She did wonder why he was in here though she had hope for an answer that would say he was in there because of her, but she didn't hold her breathe for him to admit it. She kept her warm smile as she watched him.

His eyes were glued to hers, not able to look away. Not able to think. When Mr. Demonte saw a good looking woman, his normal urge was to persuade her to sleep with him and he wouldn't give up until it happened. If it was good, he'd go back for more. But he felt different urges around Miss Goodwin. Well, sure, he still wanted to screw her, probably more now with her new look. There was something else though. He just wanted to be around her. All the time. Will felt like he was punched in the gut. What the hell was wrong with him? He didn't just want to spend time with one woman. He liked to see multiple women. And if he was lucky, at the same time. Phoebe Goodwin was messing with his mind, and he had no idea what he wanted anymore.
"Wanna sit? I must say I'm surprised you are even in here. I thought you hated the teacher's lounge." she asked, motioning to the chair next to her.
Demonte took the seat right away, though not taking his eyes off her. His mind was wandering back to the date they shared before she left. She got William Demonte to dance. In front of people. And he had so much fun doing it. But the thing he could never forget was how they kissed. If only he could kiss her again...
"I do hate the lounge," he said with a smirk, then lowered his voice so that the other teachers couldn't hear. "But when I found out you would be here, I knew I couldn't miss it."

His eyes never left her. That intense stare of his just lingered on her. It made every inch of her skin tingle and a small smile appear on her lips. She never got much attention from guys and now having one pay this much attention to her and to be handsome; it was unbelievable. She soaked in the attention that he gave her; it had to be the best home coming gift compared to the genetic cake and banner. "I do hate the lounge," This made her grin widen. She remember just how much he hated the lounge. He always did try to separate himself from the other staff but Phoebe wouldn't allow him to. Her eyes focused on his little smirk. His crooked smile just made her flutter. As he lowered his voice, Phoebe leaned in to hear him. "But when I found out you would be here, I knew I couldn't miss it." Phoebe's heart literally stopped. She did not expect mr. cool to admit that he came to see her. Her eyes glanced around at the lounge as she tried to think of something to say after that. "I wish the party was a little bit more exciting." Her eyes rest back on William's. "But i think you make up for it" She smiled again. There was nothing else in the room more intriguing than William. He certainly captured her attention every time he would step into a room. "So tell me, what have you been up to?"

The only reaction Mr. Demonte saw after he made that comment was Phoebe looking around the room. Shit did he offend her? D always said the right thing though. He couldn't tell with her...
"I wish the party was a little bit more exciting." she said after a bit. Oh Mr. Demonte knew of quite a few ways he'd like to make it more exciting. "But I think you make up for it."
A satisfied smile played on his lips as he squared his posture. Of course he made up for it. Now if only he could get the rest of the teachers out of the room... And then...
"So tell me, what have you been up to?"
Well shit. Mr. Demonte has been quite a busy fellow. With Phoebe not around taking up all of his thoughts, he had to find some way to keep himself occupied. Not to mention to keep his desires well fed. He managed to get with a few more students, one blond in particular that he couldn't get enough of. If she was talking about work though, it was boring as fuck. And the students that he wasn't screwing, were annoying him to death with their mindless whining about the poor grades he's been giving them.
"Same old." It wasn't a lie. Just vague. Phoebe didn't need to know about his trysts. Honestly, he didn't want her to know at all. As proud as he normally was about his female conquests, he wasn't about to boast about it to the history teacher he was currently trying to charm. "Boring without you here." A typical type of line he would use on a woman. This time, however, he actually meant it. His mind drifted back to their date... back to their kiss. There had been a mention of a second date, he remembered. And Phoebe said he could chose how it ended. Mr. Demonte knew exactly how it should end... Now, just to ask her. But not yet. He needed to be smooth about it. He kept a soft smile on his face, with his head bent so he could look up at her through his lashes. His body was leaned in towards her, and one of his hands rested on the table only inches away from hers.

"Same old." Phoebe rolled her eyes. It was the typical vague answer she would sometimes get from William but she was use to his mysterious way and had to admit she enjoyed trying to pull the answer out of him. Boring without you here." That got her to smile again. It was a sweet and a bit cheesy answer; a kind that she would normally read in her books. She bent down her head slightly, her long wavy brown hair covered part of her face. She could feel herself blushing underneath it as she sensed how close her hand was from William's. Flashes of their first date appeared in her mind. She never had so much fun before on a date. The two of them dancing then getting caught in the rain and then their kiss. Her lips tingled from the memory of how his lips felt against hers. She look up at him.
"Does that mean you haven't been dancing out in the middle of the streets then?" She chuckled at the memory.

"Does that mean you haven't been dancing out in the middle of the streets then?"
Mr. Demonte laughed, which issued a few odd looks from some of the other teachers who were standing near by. According to them, Mr. D never laughed. Ever. Especially not while at work. Phoebe just changed something about him. Right now his heart was beating just a little faster. He was excited that she mentioned something of their first date, glad that she remembered it.
"No, I only dance if someone forces me to," he chuckled again, remembering how she literally dragged him out to the dancing area. At first he was annoyed, but he ended up having such a good time. He didn't know how it was possible. "Speaking of forcing people to do something," he started with a smirk. "How about that second date?" Stealthily, he let one of his hands rest on her knee underneath the table. She really needed to say yes. Not only did he want to spend more time with her, but he also wanted to pick what happened at the end of the date...

His laughter hit her ears and she felt ten times lighter. To most of the other staff members, William seemed so cold and distant but yet here he was smiling and laughing. Phoebe felt like she was allow to see into a very secret side of William that many people never get to see. "No, I only dance if someone forces me to," Phoebe chuckled along with him. The two sharing a private joke that no one else in the lounge could imagine. "Yes I do believe I was very good at dragging you that night." "Speaking of forcing people to do something," She looked at him wondering where he was taking this. How about that second date?" Oh he was good. She was about to reply when all her senses when toward her knee. She felt his hand on top of her knee. The warmth of his touch radiating throughout her body. Her heart beat raced just from the question and from his touch. "Well what about it, William?" She grinned as she turned her body toward him. "I believe it was your turn to choose. So tell me when is our next date?" She didn't make any motion for him to move his hand, instead she put her hand over top of his. The heat from both of their hands made her knee hot.

"Well what about it, William?"
If anyone else called him by his first name, he'd probably punch them. But Phoebe was allowed to. His acceptance of letting her call him William, again got the attention of a few other teachers that were hovering around them. Apparently their conversation was much more interesting. He was only concerned a bit about people over hearing them and watching them interact. There was that damn rule that there shouldn't be relationships between teachers, but the others knew if they said anything about William Demonte, they'd have to deal with him and his foul mouth later. So they were expected to stay quiet.
"I believe it was your turn to choose. So tell me when is our next date?" she asked as she rested her hand on top of his.
He smirked. So she was living up to the whole he-gets-to-chose promise. Perfect. His insides fluttered like a 5 year old who just got a new bicycle. Sure it was exciting to get any woman to go on a date with him. But with Phoebe it was like he just won a million bucks and a one way ticket to paradise. If only he understood why she was affecting him so differently.
"Tonight." He didn't even have to think. He knew the date had to happen as soon as possible. She had been gone for months, he couldn't possibly wait another day to spend time with her. But now the problem was where? "Dinner." It sounded like a good plan. Taking a girl out to a nice restaurant was always a good fallback idea for a date. "I'll pick you up at six." His eyes stared into hers with a soft smile on his lips. He wasn't going to take no for an answer.

"Tonight." She couldn't wait. She had spent some time during the trip just thinking about the date she had with William and she wondered how the next one was going to be. She would only now have to wait a few more hours to find out. There was so much to do in the meantime. She would go home straight from work just to get ready. She hadn't felt like this in a long time; like a young school girl going on her big date. "Dinner.' Phoebe nodded in agreement. "I'll pick you up at six." Oh he was very good at keeping things secret. She had no idea where he was going to take her but she kinda like that. Her whole night now was full of mystery. "Alright then I believe we have our next date. I'll see you then. " She gave him a small wink and stood up . She started to walk away but then she looked back at him sitting there. She was going to blow him a kiss but then caught the glances of the other professors watching them. She opted for a large smile and turned to walk out of the teacher's lounge. There was no way she was going to focus in her classes for the rest of the day.
