It's been 115 years since the Volturi visited the Cullens with the intent of destroying the family only to be sent packing with theirtails between their legs when they realized the 'immortal child' they'd been told of by Tanya was in fact only a Vampire and Human hybrid. A half-breed if you will.
It's been 115 years, all of their loved ones have died long ago. Now the little immmortal girl has blossomed into a beautiful young woman, remainng forever sixteen. Jessica, Charlie, even the senior members of the wolf pack are long, long gone. However, as Jacob imprinted on an immortal he too never aged a day. The others remained back to man the base. No others ever came to be wolves, and as they never left their tribe they never imprinted.
