Saturday nights in Gioia's world were usually spent attending Broadway shows with her grandparents. They would always show her off to their friends saying "This is our granddaughter Gioia. She'll be one of the great dancers of her day. She'll be remember as the Ginger Rogers of her generation." Gioia could do nothing but smile and be polite to all of her grandparent's friends. It was she was their jewel and they loved to show her off to anyone and everyone. But this Saturday night, her grandparents were off in Boston. Her mother had gone to Mohegan Sun on as she called it "on business." Although Gioia knew better than to know that she was there on business. She knew that her mother was there with some guy trying to feel like she was in her early 20's since she gave up those years to raise Gioia. Ever since Gioia and her mother moved back in with her grandparents, she never saw her mother that often anymore. So this Saturday night, Gioia had the apartment all to herself. Something that didn't happen often. She knew that Leon was going through a hard time so pizza and zombie movies seemed like the best thing to do. And she knew that he had invited Callie as well. Gioia didn't mind since Leon was like family to her and she liked Callie so there was no harm done.

As she was finishing picking up her clothes and hanging them up in closet, Gioia heard a page calling her into the hallway. She ran out to the hallway to push the button hoping it was her friends with the movies. "Yes...." "I have a pizza delivery for a Michael Hendersen." Bugger, not her friends but at least the pizza was here now. "Have Raoul bring it up, please and thank you." Gioia didn't feel like going all the way to the lobby to meet the pizza guy. After all she knew him very well. He always brought her pizza when she was alone. And her grandfather was friends with the pizza guy's dad so it all worked out in the end. It didn't take long for Raoul long to get the pizza up to the apartment. As he knocked, Gioia grabbed the cash for the pizza. "Here's the cash for pizza and a little something for yourself." She gave him a coy smile and wink. "Thank you Miss Hendersen." She took the two pizza's into the kitchen and threw them in the oven to keep them warm. The only thing missing was the movie and her two friends.

Leon walked to this blockbuster next to his apartment, don’t need to use the car, it was just fine to walk, he needed some fresh air. He saw movies, Video Games, but nothing interesting for him, until he went to the shelf of comedy, and he saw this movie called Shaun of the dead. he asked to the blonde girl if that was a good movie, and she said it was, apparently a love comedy with zombies. So appropriate for a friends night. So he took it and drove to a 7 Eleven to buy some good stuff. He started with Lays, Hot Chettos, some Coke, Snickers, M&M’s, some bubble gums, and Ice Cream, something that just could be missed in the middle of the movie.


He text Gioia to say that he was on his way to her place, he also messaged Callie to know if she was going, and to know if she needed Leon to pick her in somewhere or in her house. He send the text messages and waited in a semaphore in red.

Callie stared at the pile of clothes that she threw on her bed trying to find something to wear. So much clothes and not a single thing to wear. This is just starting to get ridiculous she thought, throwing a pair of Antonlio jeans back into the cloest.

"Is that my Drink? It ain't your drink. Thats my drink! Oh well. Wellie wellie, We can move like Jelly

With a quick hand movement, she flipped out her Blackberry and saw Leon's message. With a subtle sigh, she didn't want to put yes-or no. With quick typing, she replied. "Meet me at her doorstep. we can walk in. That cool?"

Putting some random clothes in the pile, she put on her pink diamon earrings and skipped down to the stairs to the liquor cabinet. This one and that one and...yep. Putting the bottles of vodka, bourbon, and her favorite, Crown Royal. Putting them into her tote bag, she skipped out leaving the house empty. Oh, please god let tonight go well. She needed a night with just friends, sheading the skin of everything before...plus it will be nice hanging with Gio more and she'll hopefully help me with Leo.

Looking down the street, she tried to remember where she lived and followed her memory till she came to the entrance. Clicking her heels, she looked into the darkness hoping for Leo.

"Meet me at her doorstep. we can walk in. That cool?"
Leon jumped in his seat when his cellphone rang aloud in his pocket, it was Callie's response. He nodded and started droving trough the boulevard and got outside of the Hendersen House, he saw Callie already there, Jesus, she was fast. He took his shopping and the movie and stepped out of the car.


He click the car alarm and walked to Callie, he was sure of how to react, maybe he should be doing what he didn't wanted, to act like if nothing were happening between them, but maybe it was the best, and knowing Callie she would love him to do that, she didn't wanted to have a bad night.

"Hey there pinky" he said with a big smile, "Ready for a zombie night?" he said showing her the movie and walking to kiss her in the cheek, something usual for anyone... anyone.

With a soft smile, she returned the kiss. Oh, nice Shaun of the Dead, a good laugh and some gore. Running a hand through her hair she smiled at him and opened the door ushering him in. "You know I'm ready for anything," She commented, brushing past the doorman with a certain authority. Making her way with him to the elevator. "
I brought some drinks. Just help loosen us up," She pulled out the top of a bottle and smirked, pressing the 4th floor button.

Taking a small glance at Leo, she tried to forget that last time they talked. She had no reason to make him unhappy all because he liked some girl she didn't--maybe it was some psychological deal, something from their past that was coming into the future.

The metal doors opened and she walked in, tempted to pull him in by his hand. Let youtself go tonight Callie she thought waiting for him.

"You know I'm ready for anything," Leon just smiled and rolled his eyes playfully, "Oh Mrs Monmair, what are gonna do with you?" he laughed a bit an then walked with her to the elevator, oh god so many things to do in an elevator with a hot girl, but this hot girl happens to be my best friend, and Lilly had just kicked me out days ago, so it would be healthy for her, for me... oh Leon how selfish, you thinking on it like if you had a possibility with her.

I brought some drinks. Just help loosen us up Callie showed him the drinks and he felt a little childish, when he showed her the French fries and the Coke, he just laugh alittle ashamed, and answered trying to fix the fact "What? I thought someone could be hungry instead of thirsty" then he smiled again rolling hie eyes for himself.

The doors opened and he waited until she got in there first, then he followed her, hoping the doors close soon.

She laughed with him when she looked at the food. A night of carbs and liqud health--how i love life. She remembered the last time she was in a elevator with someone-with Mr.D. OH, Callie don't you dare think of doing something like that with Leon. His bloody girlfriend just kicked him out and being his backup won't do either of you good.

Standing beside him, she didn't push the button yet and looked over at him. "I'm starving..."She smiled softly and put a hand on his arm. "Thanks for inviting me-We need this," She layed her head on his shoulder and put her bag beside her. They did...and having Gio that will make it 3 times better. I mean come on, Hot guy friend and hotter girl friend. Ah Life and its perks.

"I'm starving..." well she wasn't the only one so he just smiled and pushed the bottom and clearly saw the metal doors closing. "Oh well seems like the pizza wont be enough..." he said twisting his smile like if that was a huge problem. "Thanks for inviting me-We need this," he smiled as she leaned her head in his shoulder, he leaned his head in hers softly, and said "Thanks to you, I'm the lucky, it will be a threesome" then he raised his head and stared at Callie, he winked his eyes and a sparkle smile came to his mouth while the metal doors sightly opened. "Ready?" he said pointing with his arm to the exit of the elevator and beginning of the hall.

Softly chuckling, she squeezed his arm. Oh Leo, if only I could tell you how we could be, that sounds like a cheesy lryic. Pausing in the silence of the elevator, she started to think what their relationship was excatly. Sure friends, but they've done things certain that friends would NEVER do...at least normal friends, but they could do it and still feel right with no strings.

Gioia heard her friends in the hallway. She couldn't help but feel the excitment of the night ahead. Leon, Callie and her just hanging and hopefully anything would go. After all Leon was practially her brother and Callie well Callie was Callie. Gioia couldn't think of any other words to describe her. Her legs ran to the door as she opened it with a smile. "Well, well, well, what have we here?" She gave Leon a hug and then hugged Callie as well. It felt good to have them come over. Gioia hated being alone. It always creeped her out. "Don't just stand there in the hallway come in." She moved her body out of the doorway to let them come through.

"The pizza is in the oven right now but please go ahead and make yourselves at home." Home, well it wasn't a penthouse but it wasn't a shabby apartment either. Her grandparents had bought the place when Gioia's mother was a child and kept it since then. They had been one of the original owners of the apartment and stayed because of the perks that came with it. Gioia started to make her way towards the kitchen to grab the pizza. She spun on her toes and looked over her shoulder at Callie and Leon. "All the grand parental units have for booze is vodka and gin. They just had some party thing with a few friends and used up most of it but at least we have something." She let out a wink at the two of them.

Callie returned Gio's smile while she opened the door. Oh tonight will be a blast, she imagined talking and some extra activity mixed in the bunch. With a subtle nod, she watched Gio hug Leon and then walk over to hug herself. Wrapping her arm around Gio's shoulder, she managed to get a nice squeeze before letting her go. The aroma of pizza was strong around the room and Callie couldn't help, but notice the furnishings. It was nice...beautiful in its simplicity and yet it was something she wasn't use to.

With a soft chuckle, Callie followed behind her till leaning against the doorway. "No worries, Love. I got my own stash--" She held up the tote and sat it on the counter. "Some nice choices to entertain ourselves." She took the bottles out and sat them next to each other. With a glance at Leon, she motioned next to her and Gio. "Lend a hand, good sir?"

"Well, well, well, what have we here?" Gioia gave Leon a hug and later to Callie, she looked great as always but what had him more excited was the movie, and the...pizza . "Don't just stand there in the hallway come in." Leon smiled like a dork and passed trough the hallway. "That smells good, I hope you didn't cook it, it might have rat poison" he said joking to Gioia's skills for the kitchen.

Ugh well i didn't brought vodka or stuff, but chetos and coke are way better, oh well maybe thats because I'm an oldy... Leon's thoughts about his age were growing, lately he was seeing himself as such an old men, maybe have more than 100 years was like being in this level of your life when your about to enter to the 30's.

Leon sat on the couch in front of the TV moving the channels, he stopped in History Channel and there was a program about The End Of the World special edition, how interesting... he was so lost watching the images and wondering how would it be the end of the earth, and if an immortal could survive to it. "Some nice choices to entertain ourselves." He heard Callie talking about... liquids, yeah for sure, and then her hand and her voice broke his mental confusion. "Lend a hand, good sir?"

Leon's mind cracked and smiled a little ashamed, he was with his 2 friends and losing his time thinking of the end of the world. "Sure ma' Lady, um should we put the movie now or ... oh you 2 drunks" he started to open the bottle's and then rolled his eyes, he was a party man, but when it was about unknown people, but watching his friends drunk could be 'the scene'. "So whats up? Want some pizza, Oh Gi, this is so childish, lol but I brought hot chettos, lays, coke... you know high school stuff" he said smiling like if he were thinking of his golden age.

"No worries, Love. I got my own stash. Some nice choices to entertain ourselves." Gioia was impressed. The girl came prepared. As she looked over the selection that Callie brought she smiled to herself. "Lend a hand, good sir?" "Sure ma' Lady, um should we put the movie now or ... oh you 2 drunks" Gioia let a laugh ring out of her. It was nice to have both Callie and Leon over. Who knew where the night was going to go. She looked over at Leon. "Oh Lee, it's cheaper than Prozac which is what every other kid in high school is on. That or some ADD medaction."

"So whats up? Want some pizza, Oh Gi, this is so childish, lol but I brought hot chettos, lays, coke... you know high school stuff" Gioia leaped over next to Leon. If anything was her weakness it was lays. She was addicted to lays that she knew she could never give them up. "YES!!!!!!!! LEON I LOVE YOU!!!!!!" Of course it wasn't the romantic I love you, more like a yell of happiness. After all Leon was more of a brother than anything else to her. Right away she grabbed the bag of lays and placed one in her mouth. There wasn't a sweet tooth in her but a salty one, oh yes. As she finished the chip, she tilted her head towards the oven. "Go ahead, pull out the pizza and pop in the movie. And maybe later maybe a game of I Never." She winked at Leon. It was one of the best ways to find out more about people. She could see that Leon liked Callie and if anything she thought they looked just too cute together.

Callie grabbed the first “clean” glass and poured a little of the amber liquid into the glass. Her eyes glinted with a smile watching Leon and then looked over at Gio who practically jumped in his arms. Wow, I know the secret of getting her in the mood, she laughed at the thought and walked next to her with two drinks at hand. “Never have I Ever? Oh its been ages, but I must admit it will rather hard for me to play. “She winked at her and set both drinks on the counter.

Pulling on the oven handle, she reached for a glove the one she always saw that handsome british man on the TV use. Aw how quaint, pulling on the checkered glove and pulling out the pizza. The smell instantly filled the room and Callie couldn’t help, but chuckle. “Drinking and Pizza, and Zombies, can we ask for more?”
