Bella had planned on spending the evening home. Alice and Jasper went on a date to go see some show she had never heard of before that was playing on Broadway. They had invited Bella to go with them but she opted out. She wanted to wait for Edward to come home and he was due back any minute. Carlisle and Esme had gone out to buy some things so Esme could redesign the house again and Rosalie and Emmet had probably gone to a movie or something. Regardless, Bella was home alone. The only person she didn't know the location of was her daughter.

She from time to time would find it odd that her daughter looked very close to her age. I mean, she found it odd that they had some of the same classes together and that her daughter was never going to change...And neither was she. Her thoughts were distracted when she chose that reading a book was a good use of her time. She grabbed a random book from the bookshelf not wanting to go to the library and pick one out and looked at the cover. Edipous Rex. What a book to pick. She opened the book and began to read, only to put it down and look out the window. Where was her family?

[/i] quiet. Renesmee opened the door to her room and peered out. The hall was dimly lit. It grew darker after sh shut the door behind her. She looked around to see if anyone was around in any of the other rooms. Rolling her eyes she decided to go into the living room area. Maybe even the kitchen to grab a soda. Though Ness didn't like human food, she sure did like soda and chocolate. Plus they need to keep the fridge stocked so they would raise suspicion and because, well, Jacob ate a lot.

Walking into the living room she noticed the back of her mother's head. Her first thought was to sneak up on her but she decided against it. Her next initial thought was to go and see what she was doing. Renesmee walked over to the couch and sat down. Her mother was reading, well she had a book but it wasn't exactly open. "Hey mom, whatcha readin'?" she asked softly, trying not to scare her out of her own skin. Ness didn't know if Bella had even realized that she had even sat down. As she waited for a reply she started to look around. Where was everyone? It was way too quiet and it was bugging her a great deal. Ever since they had moved to New York everyone was always out of the house. Gallivanting around. Seeing the sights. Going to shows. In all honesty, all those things were rather boring to Nessie. She missed Forks, Washington. More then anyone really, truly, knew.

Bella heard little Nesse come from out of the hallway. The only one in the house who really needed sleep. She found it rather amusing that when the whole family could be up and alive one of them would have to go to bed. Bella looked over to her daughter when she sat down and gave her a sweet hug. She looked at the book and then back at her daughter. A part of her wished everyday that she had not grown so quick. The term time racing by was to literal when it came to her daughter. She literally grew up way to fast for her. "I am reading Oedipus Rex. It's a tragedy written by Sophocles, It's a good one."

Bella watched as her daughter looked out the window. No doubt she was wondering where the rest of the family was. She went to take a nap when they all started thinking about going places. She went down the list in her head. Wishing she had chosen to go hunting with Edward. Oh how she loved watching him hunt. He seemed like he was born to do it...In a scary kind of way. "They all went out." she said looking out the window in the direction of where Nesse was looking. "Alice and Jasper are out for a play, Rose and Emmet went to a movie, Esme and Carlisle are shopping and your dad is out hunting." she said as she poured the list out.

[/color]" she said. She gave a slight kiddish smile to her mother. Nessie wasn't really a reader. She went for magazines more then books. Sure, she would read them if she had. Like for school or something but nothing really held her attention. Rubbing her face, she pulled her feet up onto the couch and wrapped her arms around them. She was still a bit tired. Plus her bed was so comfortable she was beginning to think that it was making her more sleepy just because it was so comfortable. She never wanted to leave. It was like she was in her own little cocoon.

"They all went out." said Bella, "Alice and Jasper are out for a play, Rose and Emmet went to a movie, Esme and Carlisle are shopping and your dad is out hunting." Renesmee had wondered why it was so quiet. She wasn't really used to that. It also made her wonder where Jacob was. He wasn't in his room. She knew this because his door was wide open when she passed and the room was empty. "Well then I guess it's just you and me then." she said replied to her mother with a smile. Nessie loved spending time with her mother. Sort of like a catching up kinda thing since they were so close in the first few moments of her life because she was going through the 'change'.
