Brianna entered the Parthenon's swimming pool ready for action in her white one piece swim suit. It had been years since she was on the swim team. She quit the team mostly to live the life of a party girl. She had to admit she missed the feel of being in the pool and chasing against her opponents. It might have also been her new appreciation for the water element, but who was she kidding, it was largely to do with Tristan, whom she hadn't seen since coming back. She walked along the pool confidently but her eyes were searching for him. She had no luck finding him. She made her way to the coach and the other hopefuls. She waited for her turn to tryout. Her body was itching to get into the pool. She had started practicing but never with others so her mind was wondering how she would do today. She just hoped her lifestyle as a party girl didn't hurt her body too much.

Tristan was not that hyped for tryouts. The reason being that he would help with who the coach would cut, and who would stay. So alot of the pressure was on from his 'friends' and what not. But he was not going to let them on if they weren't better then the other kids trying out. Last year, he would have, but this year? No dice. He learned a little about commitment durring his vacation. He had met a few olympic swimmers, and swam against them. Sometimes, he'd win. But they shared stories with him about being on the high school swim team, and being the best, and how much pressure was on them. Not only from their coachs and families, but their friends to get them on the team. or a whole week Tristan had stayed with them, learning new technuiqes and what not, that is the only way he got out of school, was because of the 'training with olympic swimmers' part of the vacation. Little did they all know that he and the swimmers spent the rest of the time partying and what not.
He walked into the pool room, and coult not belive his eyes.
Brianna Ackart was here, in a swim suit, trying out for The team. His mouth dropped. He recovered when he notivced that the room was also full of other people. But he didnt notice them, all he saw was her. He strode over to her, wanting to gather her in a fierce hug. But he brought himself to a stop, a foot away from her.
"Brianna, where were you," Was all he said.

Brianna was having a little small talk with some of the other people that were waiting for the tryouts. It was more like she was sizing them up more than anything. She figured she could take them especially with her powers but she actually didn't want to use her powers. This was something she wanted to earn, and that coming from her was a pretty big thing. Brianna usually took anything she wanted but not this time. While she was talking to some 10th grade girl, she felt someone come up behind her. "Brianna, where were you," She heard his voice and nothing else mattered for that moment. She completely forgot about the 10th grade girl and turned around to face Tristan. He looked just as amazing as ever. He had the most gorgeous eyes up close and that messy hairdo that you just wanted to run your fingers through. "Been all over, Tristan. Went on a trip with Olivia. She needed to do somethings and I needed to think." Brianna stood confident with her hand on her hip. She knew that she needed to talk to Tristan especially with where they stood now. The whole thing just made her very confused. She wanted to be with him but wasn't sure who he wanted to be with. "So captain, when do we start?" She felt pumped up and ready for this tryout.

"Been all over, Tristan. Went on a trip with Olivia. She needed to do somethings and I needed to think." She stood, as confidant as ever, her hip cocked with one hand resting on it. He shook his head a slow smile creeping onto his face. Same old Brianna He thought, glancing up and down her swim suit clad body. She certainly had the right body for the swim team, it looked like it had been only a little out of practice, but anyone could get that way within two weeks of not training.
"So captain, when do we start?"
He looked at her, then to the pool. when should practice start? He thought to himself, since the coach was resting entirely on him to bring in some amazing new recruits, he was the one who got to call when it started.
"Now I guess," He said to her, taking one last sweep of her body, this time not for checking its ability to swim.
"Okay! I want all the People going out for JV to round up at that end of the pool first!" He said, taking a position that meant that he was in charge, and they had to listen to him. His voice boomed across the Pool Room, echoing. About twenty minutes later, he had in his mind, already formed the JV swim team. He'd had to cut one girl because she didnt have her Butterfly down. She would be dissapointed when they posted the lists.
"Now, I want everyone trying out for Varcity!" He boomed. "And i want to let you know, that I will not go easy on anyone because they are my 'friend', We are building an All star Varcity team, and I am only going to recruit people who are serious about this, and know what they're doing." He said, looking at the faces of the people, waiting for his call, his eyes drilling into each of them. "Now, BEGIN!" He called, and blew his whistle.

Now I guess,"Brianna was ready for this. She waited pool side for the JV team tryouts. The anticipation was almost painful as she watched the swimmers take to the pool. She examined them closely, trying to see what they were doing wrong and what they were doing right. It seemed like time just sped up because before she knew it the JV team was done and Tristan was calling for the Varsity team. Brianna stepped up to the platform. She pulled her long black hair back into a tight ponytail. "And i want to let you know, that I will not go easy on anyone because they are my 'friend', We are building an All star Varcity team, and I am only going to recruit people who are serious about this, and know what they're doing." She figured he was talking directly to her. She understood his role in this and she didn't want him to go easy on her, not about his. She steadied her breathing to try and calm down her rapid heart beat. She positioned herself on the platform, ready for the go ahead. "Now, BEGIN!" With that all the sounds cut off around her and Brianna dived like an arrow into the pool. The water surrounding her body, it felt like home. Stroke after stroke she swam through the water. She didn't bother to look around her, she just focused straight ahead. Brianna kept pushing her body forward. As her finger tips touched one end of the pool, her body twisted in the water and she headed back to the other end. Brianna kept her word on not using any of her powers in the water, but she couldn't help but feel that there was a reason that her element was water. Her body just complimented with the water. It was just so natural for her to be in the water. Her movements were smooth even when she pushed her body to the limit. When her fingers hit the wall for the last time, she finally looked around to see how she did.

He watched in wonder as Brianna dove into the water, hitting the water at a perfect angle. Her body flowing through it, like she had been made to swim inside of it. He was supposed to be watching the other swimmers, but he couldn't completely take his eyes off of her. She was always there, in the corner of his vision, her perfect strokes making him want to look at the graceful arches of her arms every time that they came from beneath the water.
He blew the whistle when they had gone through the list of swimming styles. He checked his clip board, and Brianna had nailed it on every single move. Well, he didn't have to check his clip board for that one. There were not as many people trying out for Varsity as there were JV, so he did not have to make as many as cuts, but he still had to make a few, but Brianna was not among them. he shook his head, a smile starting to come across his lips. Brianna made the Varsity Swim team. He decided that he would give her the news first hand. He just had to get her alone.
He leaned on the wall, his tall frame curving out at the waist. He was waiting for Brianna to come over to him, when she was good and ready to.

Brianna stepped out of the pool and was met with a group of people who had been watching her. Someone handed her a towel to dry off. Apparently she had done very well in the tryout. She didn't care, it was just so much fun to be back in the water. Life just seemed easier while swimming. There was no worries only one goal down there and that is to swim fast. As the crowd complimented her, Brianna tended to ignore them. She didn't really care what they all thought, she wanted to hear from Tristan. Her eyes search from him by the pool side and found him standing off to the side by the wall. She excuse herself politely and walked over to him with the towel around her. "So captain, did I make the team?" she grinned at him. If she did make the team that would mean she would get to spend more time with him in and out of the pool.

He smirked as she came over to him. "You want me to tell you?" He asked, quirking an eyebrow. He knew she would tell her, and she probably knew too. He smiled his usual smile, part mystery, and part trouble. "I could tell you now," He said, looking off slightly, making sure that everyone was filing out of the locker rooms, waving their good byes, looking hopeful. "But what fun would that be?" he said, his smile getting wider. he didn't know what he was doing really, just being a smart ass for no reason other than to be one. But he realized that it was only half as fun as it should have been, so he decided to tell her, even though he would have had quite a time messing with her over it, but something had occurred to him, he wasn't the old Tristan he was, he actually felt ties to this girl. He may had before, but compared to what he felt now, it seemed like nothing. He smiled again, as he had lost it in his train of thought. "You made the team,"

..."But what fun would that be?" Brianna waited for Tristan's answer as to whether or not she made the team. It was something she honestly wanted for once. She wanted something that she could work at and prove she was more than just a pretty face. She studied his facial features for the answer. With that devilish expression he wore, she figured they were going to start playing a little game for the answer. She was more than ready to play his game. They could flirt around like they usually did. Maybe even go for a little swim. The thought of the memory cause her grin to widen. Oh she thought about that night in the pool for quite sometime now. It was one of her favorite memories with Tristan. "You made the team," Her mind was so wrapped up in the memory that she didn't really get to hear him. "I made it? Are you serious?!" Her face lit up, which was pretty rare for her. She hardly lit up for anything lately. She stood frozen for a moment with that excited daze look on her face. She was so excited to get started with the team especially the competitions. She couldn't wait to kick people's asses in the water. Maybe she would be the school's record. After a few moments, she calmed back down. "Well thanks captain. When's practice?" She smiled at him because more than anything she was excited to finally have more time with Tristan.

"I made it? Are you serious?!" Her face practically lit up with the news that he shared with her. "Well thanks captain. When's practice?" He smirked, as ideas fled through his mind. "We can start right now," He said, but his smile slightly faded. What was he going to do? He had this whole thing with brianna, before he was imprinted to her, he felt majorly attracted to her, and there was the incident in the pool. But Alex was the one who he shared deeper moments with, but lately, it did not seem like that, it seemed like their roles were reversed, except that him and Alex hadn't actually done anything. He pushed it all out of his mind, he wasn't going to worry about this anymore, he was done trying to choose right now, he would cross that bridge when he got to it. "So, what do you say?" he said, not giving her a chance to answer. He stripped off his shirt, and jumped into the pool, his gym shorts still on. "c'mon, this time we weill go oout on that date that I promised you, after practice," he knew where he was going to take her.
