Sam ran down the temple steps, chasing the kids in his hebrew class. He was gonna beat them. Taking long and very quick strides, he reached their front stoop before they did, laughing all the way. "Haha, you lose, Issac. C'mon, hand it over." He said as the young kid turned the corner. He held, in his outstreched hand, a gold ring one of the kids had taken off of his desk during swim class at the JCC, which, of course, they would challenge him to get back. He watched as they walked into thier house, and smiled as he walked away, placing the ring on his finger. Of course, because the kids had to play thier game, he had now missed the bus, and was forced to walk to the train station to catch the subway, which he had forgotten his pass for. Awesome day. Not so much religious garb...

Callie looked down at her blackberry and kept ignoring the same phone call. Ignorant basterd she thought, sighing. Coming back from her Mothers business was a hassle it required going the distince literally and since she was banned from the limo and town car, it meant Cabs and Subways. Throwing her phone back in her bag, she looked down both sides and saw nothing so made head way to the nearest subway station. Putting her sunglasses back on, she skipped across the road and looked at the windows. Going home was not a option since Greg and Lilly were practicly living there, it was now a level of hell and so, Leon’s house maybe or a hotel. “I’ll figure it out,” She mumbled aloud until she saw someone in front of her. Nice back view she thought and decided to ask for help. Walking a bit faster behind him, she tapped his shoulder, “Hey. Can you how me where the closest subway station is? She asked, biting her lip. Oh, How we love a Sunday Afternoon

He hated when people asked him for directions. He took a deep breathe and turned around quickly, pointing in the direction of the train, the same place he was going. But, suddenly, he was before a familiar face. Callie, at least, he thought. The one that puts out..wait, is she the one that gets around, or the one that died..no, that was Alex..whatever..
"Hey, Callie." He said with a smile. "I guess you didn't expect to see me here. I'm going to the train too." How awkward was this going to be? He barely knew her, and already they were walking buddy buddy to the train station. Welcome to New York City, Samuel.

Her mouth kind of dropped when she saw who it was. Ah Golden boy she thought looking him up and down. What is he doing here? Oh god, that means…oh great she thought slowly. Pulling on her jacket, she put on a smile and started to mess with her hair. “Oh, that’s interesting. I’m just using it for today…but um, yeah.” She tried to say, but like she was going to tell him she didn’t have anywhere to go. Sure he was hot, but she didn’t know him…not like that…stop thinking Callie.
Kicking back a heel, she walked beside him and looked over at the subway entrence. “Well, we can pretend not to know each other or start dull uncoventational conversations,” She said, looking back over at him. Nice eyes she thought, good bone structure he could be a damn good model.

"I'm not much for dead conversation, as long as your not embarassed to be seen with the jew." he chuckled, pulling the yarmulke from atop his head and shoving it into her pocket. She looked pretty today, but they all always looked pretty. He had never met an earth witch before, just fire and air, and he kind of wanted to see what she could do. He knew that, if any of the witches were like him, it would be Callie with whom he had the most relation.
"Well, wanna go somewhere and play with our powers? It's been a while since I've done that just for fun." he said, showing her the raw, now healing burn on his left hand. He enjoyed fire, he just wished it wasn't so hot. His grandma called him a pyro. he called himself intresting. "I've never..experienced your abilites before."

A Jew? She thought on it for a second, wondering if she knew anyone jewish...or anyone who had the state of saying it out loud. Nope, she was a jewish virgin. Go Figure. Her eyes managed to look at his eyes a nice soft blue ones that you'd never expect for a Fire witch..i think that is what he is anyway. Patting her red dress she turned to look at him with a twisted smirk.
"Well, wanna go somewhere and play with our powers? It's been a while since I've done that just for fun." she chuckled and realized she never used her powers for fun... a real fun anyway. She looked down to see the burn on his hand and she took his hand in her own. Oh god, it looks like it hurts. "I'd love to, but before we do anything--" Her hand genetly squeezed his hand and could feel his skin going over the burn. Healing does have fun ups and downs. "There"
"I've never..experienced your abilites before."
Flipping her hair, she took her hands back and folded them in front of her. "Oh they are nothing, a bit boring depending, but i have a little of this and a little of that.

He looked his hand up and down, amazed. The doctors had told him it would never go away. But, then again, he never seemed to care much about those doctors anyway. "I'm sure earth would be so much more fun than fire. All I can do is make stuff burn. You can do so much more." He smiled, showing her hand to her as an example. He rubbed his eyebrow, and headed in the direction they had been walking, pulling the gold ring off his finger, and heating it to a very high temperature.
Until it started melting, he could deal with the heat now resonaiting from it. As he looked her up and down, he started to realieze, already, that maybe these girls weren't so bad.
He extended a hand, holding out the ring. "Take that for a second."

Callie laughed and crossed her arms. eh, he isn't too bad--a little sweet and a tad charming, but that can't be all bad. If only he knew though, probably dis the ground she stood on or burn her...how ironic, to have the power of fire and that fire killed half the witches ages ago. "Sure, healing is a lotta fun, but its all offense. i would love some defensive ground movement, much more fun--" she looked over at him and bumped into him lightly. walking with him in new york's busy quiet was somehow strangly exciting and then she heard him say something. Looking down, she saw him hold out a ring and she took it grievingly. 'alright, this is beautiful. married already?" she smirked, and rolled it around in her palm.
