Rosalie walked into the Four Corners Book Store on a mission. She never went out without a reason lately. It kind of scared her. She used to always go out and have fun and right now, she had no idea what she could do anymore. She had started to take her own car apart for the millionth time. She had no idea why this time she had run into trouble. So, she had to do some research. She had gone online and scouted every single car website she could, coming up with nothing. She was angry and confused and very irritated. As she looked around the store she found books Bella might like and books that Edward might like. Even though he never reads. She came across a book that might be compatible with every person in the family. She even found one she might like picking it up to possibly read in the future. She knew it would probably spend eternity on the book shelf in the room she and Emmett shared, like all of her books do. She finally came across the section of informational books and began looking through them. She went through every shelf more than once. She was getting a little irritated. Why in the world can I not find this book? Rosalie began thinking. She sighed and thought out loud. "I thought this store had every book possible." wearing this.tags: open word count: two hundred thirty-five.

Gioia Hendersen wasn't one to spend much time in book stores. If anything she would rather be doing something different than scanning the shelves for books. But she wanted to read up on her powers and exactly how she could control them. This world of being a witch was all new to her. But this idea of power enchanted her. She knew it was easy to cross over to the dark side but she didn't want to. Yes Gioia could be one of the biggest bitches at The Parthenon but she didn't want to cross over to the dark side of witch craft.
Finding a book about how to control her powers was what she wanted. But she seemed to be to lost in the book store standing in all the wrong sections. She heard a voice not far from the shelf that she was standing at. "I thought this store had every book possible." Gioia turned her head around to see who said that. Through the shelf next to her she saw a blonde haired woman. Gioia walked over towards her. "Well they do have every book imaginable here. You just have to know where to find it." She gave the blonde a small smile. "Trust me I'm having issues too finding a book I want."

Rosalie jumped at a voice. Well, at least she made it seem as if she were not expecting it. She knew the woman was coming. She turned and looked at her. "Yeah, I bet you try and find books on M3 BMW convertibles." Rosalie let out a frustrated sigh. "I have been here for and hour and a half trying to find a book on my car."

Gioia threw her raven hair back and laughed. It wasn't a laugh towards the girl. It was laugh of irony. What a small world that she would run into someone who would need help with a BMW. She gave the blonde a smile. "If it were a BMW 330xi, I could help you. That was my car last year. But unfortunately I know nothing about the M3's." She looked at the books in front of the girl who looked about Gioia's age. "And to be honest I don't think this section will help since it's all about health and fitness." There was a book that did catch Gioia's eye about dancing but she figured it wasn't the time and place to grab a book about that. She still needed to find a few books on witch craft or at least the paranormal. The pools of blue darted along the walls of the non-fiction section trying to find the section about auto-motives. But looking quickly she didn't seem to find anything right away. Her eyes did spot something that she thought could help. The blue eyes looked back at the blonde. "I am not that car savvy. All I know about my car is where to plug in my iPod and how to start it." She let out a laugh at herself. What a typical girl, knowing nothing about cars but could tell you what the latest makeup trend was. Turning around and pointing at the computer that was labeled title sleuth, Gioia figured it could help one of them at least if not both. It wasn't even that far away from them either. "I bet that computer over there might help." Her head snapped back towards the blonde. She figured that this girl was about her age. Maybe she even went to the Parthenon like Gioia. Beside most the wealthy went there and if this girl had a BMW M3, she probably went to the Parthenon. "You go to the Parthenon?" she asked out of curiosity.

Rosalie let out a beautiful laugh that most people would kill to have. "Yeah, that might help, but i was looking over here for something on specifics on my niece. She has not been her idea of perfection lately and wanted me to pick her something up about it. I looked over there for about an hour and found nothing, but the computer might help. Thanks."Rose rolled her eyes and let out an overly bored sigh. "Yes, I go to the Parthenon. I don't enjoy it much. There are much better things for me to do, but I do attend schooling there. Why?" Thinking for a moment Rose thought she might have seen the girl around the school a couple times before. There seemed to be so many people that went there and they were always giving her looks, like she always got at a school she had ever gone to. She began to wonder why this girl had even thought to talk to her.

Lilly had woken up after about an hour of napping, something that she hardly ever did, but today, she just needed it. School had been murder, and there was a weird kid that liked to follow her around, her cell phone poised to take a snap of her say, eating, or drinking, or sneezing, no doubt to send it to Gossip Girl, but that is beside the point. She was feeling better now, but if that girl was outside of her house when she left, Lilly would have a fit, and probably make it rain in the process, as she was not trained in anything, at. all. She stepped out of her door, glad to see that the freshman was not lurking in the shadows by her door, or even around the corner. Why was she such a good target for this girl? She didn't know, but her life had to be pretty dull to be following Lilly around, it was not like she had some fabulous life, she never really went out even. She walked the streets until she came to a book store that she had heard about it from Alex and what not, so she decided she should check it out. Lilly stepped into the book store. She could not believe that she had never been in here before. It was fantastic. She smiled when she saw Gioia here. She really was beginning to like that girl. She was glad that they had a certain thing in common, because if not, Lilly probably would have steered clear of her. Lilly walked up to her, and saw that she was in a conversation with a girl, talking about a book on a car? A M3 BMW convertible book. Lilly smirked when she saw it on the shelf, inches from her hand. She picked it up, and walked closer to the girls. "I believe your looking for this?" she said, smiling friendly tword the breathtaking blond. outfit : Thiswords : 327 Listening to : think of you - a fine frenzy

Gioia nodded her head as the blonde said she went to the Parthenon. "I thought so. You looked a bit familiar and the fact that most teenagers around here who drive BMW's go there." Didn't Gioia know about wanting to spend time different. Although she was that poms squad so she did spend a lot of time there. But lately poms just wasn't cutting it. She would rather be experimenting with her magic more and more but she hadn't found a safe haven to do that. Upon hearing Lilly's voice, Gioia spun around. She hadn't been expecting to hear her voice. It seemed she kept seeing her all over the place. Gioia didn't mind at all. After all Lilly wasn't quite like some of the other girls at the Parthenon that seemed intimated by Gioia. Well maybe it was because Gioia was a bitch. She was out spoken and impulsive and if that made her a bitch so be it. It was who she was. But she really was starting to like Lilly. She looked at the book in Lilly's hand. "I believe that is exactly what she is looking for. Aren't you..." Gioia paused for a second realizing that she didn't know the blonde's name. Her blue eyes looked at the blonde with question.

Rosalie turned and looked at the woman holding the book. She gave her a look. Yeah, unfortunately that is what I am looking for. Rosalie looked between the two girls. Finally she spoke to Gioia again, Rosalie. Rosalie Hale. I am one of Carlisle Cullen's adopted kids. But, yeah, we go there, I didn't think it mattered.

Gioia threw her raven hair back and laughed. "At the Parthenon, it does matter. Trust me on that." It was true most of the students who attended that school either had money or came from money. Leaning one hand on the bookcase and the other one offering to shake, she offered a smile towards the blonde. "Well Rosalie I'm Gioia and this is Lilly. And you ever run into any issues with anything at the Parthenon, we can solve it for you." It wasn't often that Gioia offered that to anyone. But there was something about Rosalie that Gioia seemed to like. She couldn't put her finger on it but there was something there.

Rosalie looked between the two girls unsure what to say. She could sense neither one of them were human, but they weren't vampires or wolves either. She put on a fake smile. "Yeah, well, if I get in that deep, I will, but don't expect a call anytime soon asking you two to save my butt. I can usually handle most things myself." She took the two books and turned on her heel walking towards the counter. Halfway there she stopped and turned on her heel. "It means a lot that you would think of the new girl though. Us Cullens usually stay to ourselves, but I would gladly hang out with you anytime." She put on a real smile this time as she walked towards the counter to buy her books. As she was paying she looked over at the two and recieved a text message. She took out her phone and answered the text.

The raven hair girl laughed. Yes The Parthenon was just a high school but with rumors of different creatures crawling through the halls, it seemed like the perfect place for anything to happen. After all Gioia was one of the creatures, one those myths: a witch. "Word of advice, The Parthenon isn't like any other high school. Just trust me." Gioia wasn't about to give away her secret about her power. Everyone was entitled to there secrets.
When Rosalie offered that she would be willing to hang out but that the Cullen's usually kept to themselves, Gioia bit her lip. "So how many of you are there?" If they mainly kept to themselves, then Gioia assumed that there must be at least eight or twelve of them. To have that big of a family to just keep to themselves, it was something Gioia couldn't wrap her mind around.

She looked up for a moment, having to completely think through the question. After pocketing her phone and finally realizing what Gioia was talking about, she responded. "Well, there's..." She thought for a moment, counting on her fingers. "There is nine of us in the family including Carlisle and Esme."

Gioia knew her face turned white. She could feel the color draining. Nine of them, oh geez, that sounded like they could start their own business or something. Maybe have their own Broadway show. She shook her head before she took a breath to finally speak to Rosalie. "Holy mother of Hera, that's a lot of you. How do you do it? I mean live with all those people? I bet trying to get into the bathroom is a chore eh?" The joys of being an only child. Right now Gioia couldn't help but secretly thank her mom for never having anymore children. Gioia probably wouldn't have been able to deal with brothers or sisters. She was the type of girl who when she wanted something, she made sure she got it.

Rosalie smiled and laughed lightly at the thought of sharing a bathroom. "Nope. See we have had certain living arrangements for a while. And we always find a house that can give each room their own bathroom. Getting ready in the morning is pretty much just working around one other person." Her smile stayed on her face kind of happy to know there was someone out there who thought their family was kinda funny.
