He had been enrolled in school so Aro could get close to the witches. Alec, however, had an early out, so he was flipping through his sketch book on the bleachers, when, being the idiot that he was, realized that gym class was outside today. Angrily, he watched as the kids took the field, and did thier usual warm ups. He contemplated using his gift to knock out the head football star, and watch him writhe in the darkness. But of course, he did not.
He lay down over the bleachers, looking up into the sky. Aro had given him a form of sun tan lotion to cover the sparkles, but, he did slip a pair of sunglasses on to his face, and drifted off to his own little dreamland, his mind shifting from place to place.

Alex stretched her arms down to her ankles and held for a moment, before straightening again and lifting her leg up behind her, creating a partial arc in her back. With a sigh she dropped her leg, and glanced around. God she hated gym. But it was a requirement, which, kind of sucked. On the bleachers, she spotted someone she hadn't seen before. He was pretty hot, too... New student? Those seemed to be coming into the Parthenon by the tons lately. She wondered for a moment if he had brothers that were as hot as he was. Raising an eyebrow, she looked over at the gym teacher, who was distracted by trying to get the football jocks to settle down, then back at the bleachers.
With a snap of her fingers at her side, one of the jocks yelped with pain as a tiny fireball stung him in the back of the leg. Alex chuckled lightly then sauntered over to the boy on the bleachers, and sat down on the row just below him. "Hm. I haven't seen you around here before. Fresh meat?" She smiled at him, her eyes doing a once over of the boy before meeting his eyes, then the dark green eyes going over his body quickly once more. He was a hottie, she gave him that. But if he was a nerd, she'd just use him as someone else to get her a passing grade in all the classes she was failing. Which was, unsurprisingly, all of them. "I'm Alex."

The voice didn't surprise him, as she sensed her, it just surprised him that she was talking to him. He looked up, removing his glasses, and sat up as quickly as he could. Always nervous, he hoped his english would hold up long enough to be able to talk to her. With her dark brown hair and eyes, she looked alot like Nicolina, his now deceased fiance. But, with this one, he could tell she was diffrent from the other witches. The ones that he had been watching. Immediatley upon meeting her, he could tell she was a witch, but, right now, he didn't care.
"Hm. I haven't seen you around here before. Fresh meat?"
"I guess you could say that." He half smiled, his eyes winking in the new light. "My sister and I just moved here. I'm Alec." He extended a hand to her, and ran the other through his hair. "I had early out. I'm not in the way I hope." And of course, his english was flawless.

"I guess you could say that." Alex raised an eyebrow with a small smile. Huh. Kid had a bit of spunk. She gave him that, too. Normally a nerd or whatever would've answered with some comment that assured her that they thought she was being serious -them being the idiotic morons that they were when it came to jokes and anything that wasn't Science or Math-, but this guy actually knew she was speaking in a figure of speech. Okay, he was on her good side. For now, at least. "My sister and I just moved here. I'm Alec." Sister? No hot brother? Or brothers? Damn! Oh well. She'd just have to become besties with his sister so she wouldn't come after her in her sleep when she hooked up with her brother. "Alec? Well that's a handsome name. Just like the owner of the name." Alex winked, then laughed a bit. "I had early out. I'm not in the way I hope." She smiled and shook her head. "Not at all! You're perfectly fine..." Once again her eyes traveled quickly, doing yet another once over before meeting his eyes again. He was almost so hot it should've been illegal. Okay yeah she was going insane. And scarily corny.
"So have you been properly shown around the Parthenon? If you haven't, I swear to god, i'll scream until I turn blue. But if one of the administrators of the school have already shown you around a bit, I could always show you the places where the teachers without a doubt wouldn't even think about showing you." It then occured to her, that Alec could be one of those guys. Those, being the kind of guy who reports every bad thing he sees and or hears, even if it's minor, and apsolutely refuses to have a backbone of any sort. God she would murder this kid if he was one of those kinds of kids. She didn't need another goodie goodie going around telling on her and getting her even more detentions, which, did not please Mr. Demonte. He was beginning to get irritated with how many times she'd been in detention, or, in a couple cases, had been suspended for a few days. Or at least that's what she thought.

She was a horrible flirt. And Alec would know. He flirted with queen Sophia of England. She found it quite amusing. Her husband did not. But in any case, he could maybe find something intresting about this witch. Then, if nothing came of thier relationship, Jane could have her. She would be entertained for quite some time, and very easily. He did have to admit, this girl was very pretty.
"Well, let me say one thing before we get any further, hmm? You may want to try a little more subtlety. Your very very obvious in your intent." He smiled, jokingly. "I'm not that kind of a boy. You at least have to buy me dinner first." He held a serious face for a couple of minuets, then laughed loudly. "I haven't seen all of the school, no. But I'm sure the view from here is just fine."

"Well, let me say one thing before we get any further, hmm? You may want to try a little more subtlety. Your very very obvious in your intent." Alex laughed and crossed one leg over the other. "You know, subtle isn't exactly an area of my expertise. I prefer to jump without looking and hope I land in deep water.” It was true. Her fire power matched her perfectly. She was outgoing, and reckless, but then, that sometimes got her in trouble. That, and she'd been to the hospital plenty of times. She wasn't planning on landing in the hospital just by doing a bit of shameless flirting, though. Even if she did suck at it. She had her own style; that's all there was to it.
“I'm not that kind of a boy. You at least have to buy me dinner first." he raised her eyebrows at this. She liked him already. But she needed to find out if he was a nerd, or even a goodie two shoes, or not, before she made any kind of move toward, well, any kind of relationship with him. Whether it be friends, or more. "Alright, then what do you say we ditch this boring ass gym class and get a bite to eat? My treat, of course." Getting out of gym would be easier than snapping her fingers. All he had to do, was agree to go with her. Yeah, okay, maybe she was getting a tad bit ahead of herself with this guy, but whatever. Even if he didn't want to go, she wasn't about to join in on the "fun activities" of gym class.

He smiled wide, and jumped to his feet, extending his arm for her's. Chivalry may have been dead, but Alec was a vampire. Not many things in his life died. "I've eaten already. I don't like to over do it." He was is no mood to force down food right now. "How about coffee?" He could force down coffee, however much the smell made him want to tear his brains out. Aro would find this cute, and the only thing Marcus would say was that he propobly shouldn't eat her, because they really aren't sure what the witches would do. Caius would warn him not to share his secret, which of course, he wouldn't.
"New York is certainly a much better place, now that I have met someone who seems to know so much about it. Perhaps there was a reason I moved here." He winked as seductivley as he could, although to him, it felt quite awkward. Maybe that wasn't his thing..."Well, Miss Alex, do you have a favorite coffee place?"

Alex raised her eyebrows again, her smile softening when Alec jumped to his feet and held his arm out to her. "I've eaten already. I don't like to over do it." Clearly chivalry hadn't died completely; in fact, it had just moved to New York. She took his arm and stood up. "How about coffee?" Coffee... hm. Alright. She'd let him have his light drink for the moment. But after that, she was going to have to show him a real New York drink at the Scene, or at Casey's.
"New York is certainly a much better place, now that I have met someone who seems to know so much about it. Perhaps there was a reason I moved here." Alex laughed quietly, pressing her lips into a delicately held straight line. Or at least, as straight as she could manage. "Perhaps." He was charming. She would give him that, as well. Hell, she'd probably give a lot of things to him by the end of the day. She had to find out where he'd come from. And then she'd make it impossible for him to go back. A small shudder crawled up her spine, as her skin met his. It was cold.
How could his skin be so cold, when the weather was so warm? Whatever. Minor detail. It didn't matter what his skin temperature was; either way he was totally hot. And that was all that mattered to a naive fifteen year old girl like her. "Well, Miss Alex, do you have a favorite coffee place?" God, she had to think about that for a minute or two. She normally drank alcohol, not coffee. Although, she had been to a few coffee shops here and there that were... decent. "Ninth Street Espresso is pretty nice. We could go there."
