Aro saw a bar, a very quiet one, he chose at random, for the smell of who was ever inside. He had drifted in, with an air of deadly power about him. He glanced around with his crimson colored eyes, and chose a dark booth that was empty. He flashed a smile at a waitress with sandy blond hair. She her facial expressions twisted with fear and excitement. She was definitely intrigued by him, what with his strange eye color, and pale, pale skin.
"What will it be," She said in a shaking voice.
"A glass of wine please," He said, always polite, always calm.
He sat himself in the booth, the booth was shrouded by shadows, just like he wanted it. He could watch the night unfold around him without ever being a part of it, or being intruded upon, unless it was by one of his guard.

It was time to hunt again. Hephzibah could feel it in her bones. The night was young and she needed to get out there. She stood in the street of the city feeling it's life surround her. If only she was human then maybe she would look up at the sky and see just the pin pricks of the stars. But she hadn't been human for almost 300 years. After awhile she lost all traits of humanity. There was not a sliver left in her at all.
A quiet bar, different from what she would usually choose but she was in the mood for something different. So when she entered the bar, it was obvious that she was going to have play her game with a different strategy. She made her way over to the bartender. "Hey there sugar, one gin martini with a splash of lemon juice." Her evil grin shown from both corners of her mouth. Those cold eyes glanced the bartender up and down. He wasn't worth it. Besides Hephzibah was out of his league. There was no way that she would even consider dropping league.
As the bartender came back over her drink, she took it and left the bar. Her cold eyes glanced throughout the bar looking for someone that could at least make her night. It wasn't like a demon to making friends but the last time she went to bar she met the most spunky blonde. If she wasn't so cold, Hephzibah would have formed a friendship with her. But she didn't spot the blonde but there was someone that did catch her attention. It was like he didn't want to be seen, sitting in the shadows just watching the night unfold. She smiled to herself and made her way to the booth next to his.
