raven [ pyxis ] davies ,
"Alright, my name is Raven Pyxis Davies, but you can call me Ravie, Pyxis, Pixie, Tinkerbell, or whatever else you can think of. My parents are named Pyxis and Eric Davies. I love them both so much. I have two older brothers who give me way more than I can handle, their names are Nate and Kage. Kage isn't actually his name, but I'm under contract to refer to him as Kage. Stupid boys. I'm the only girl in my siblings, which means I'm the one all of them pick on. It gets rather annoying after a while.
I was born and raised on a ranch in Wyoming. I've worked as many different things, and won a lot of things on Horseback. It wasn't long before I met a couple of witches. They were my friends, until they decided to do something that destroyed my life.
I call myself a witch hunter. Because of what those witches did to me. I killed them. Killed my friends. It pretty much killed my sense of loyalty. The power of water seeped into me, and I became known as a Rusalka demon, at least that's what Clara called me in her last breath. I'm a wanderer, I don't like staying in one place. It's too... controlled. I like living near the water. The reason I'm in New York, is because my mother got, she works in a fashion industry now. I've been able to control myself around my family for now, but I don't think I can do it any longer. I love to fight, but I also love getting into trouble. Any kind of trouble attracts me. My brother, Kage, is worrying about me, I can sense it. But what he doesn't know is that this is only the beginning."

When she looked at him, he saw a look in her eyes. A look that said what he was thinking. That he was really ill or something. He saw her look towards the door, and he felt his heart jump in his chest, and his eyes widen... His heart that wasn't supposed to exist. His father tried to make sure of that. He'd only ever cared for one person, his mother Narcissa. Never about another female around his age. Never about anyone. Sure, he cared about Pansy and Blaise, but that was as far as any kind of affection he had, could go. He never cared about someone else in school. He tried to contain the sigh of relief that escaped his lips as she sat down. He looked at her for a moment, before sitting down next to her. If only his parents, or even Voldemort, could see him now. Oh yes, he knew Voldemort was around. But he was told to act like he knew nothing, to tease Potter about it whenever he got the chance. It was that or... He didn't even want to think about it. But he, and the other junior Death Eaters, which he was ashamed to say that it was a group he belonged to, they all were told that Voldemort was back, but they weren't to speak a word of it, until their master decided to show himself to the entire world.
"Um... we were walking by a damn... and I looked away for a second. Just a second." As she took a breath, and bit her lip, Draco crossed his other arm across himself and took her hand, hoping to give her enough comfort to keep going. It was strange though, and might have had the opposite effect, but he hoped it worked. He liked listening to Payson talk. "When I looked back, Sean was on the edge. I couldn't get to him before he fell..." She was crying now. If Draco didn't have his pride to worry about, he might have let tears come to his eyes. But he did have his pride. He had to maintain his 'I-don't-give-a-damn' attitude, especially at school. Especially around a Gryffindor. "He drowned, and I never got over it. I kept thinking, I could've saved him... and I could've prevented it." Draco swallowed, trying to keep his own emotions under control. He couldn't start tearing up at this story. "But, clearly, I couldn't." She sighed, and looked up at the ceiling.
Draco took in another breath. He seemed to do that often today. "I've felt so horrible over the past few months." She sighed, shakily, and Draco gently rubbed her back with his free hand. Something his mother would do, if he had a nightmare when he was younger. What he didn't tell, even his mother, was that he had nightmares a lot. Not of his father, but of Voldemort. He was scared to death of Voldemort. Voldemort didn't deserve to have a title in front of his name, but he wouldn't dare say that in front of anyone. "It's expected." He hadn't lost anyone close to him, but he imagined how it would feel. That was one of his nightmares, Voldemort doing something that ended in Narcissa being murdered. She began playing again. Well, not really playing, just more of pressing the keys.
"It's not your fault, you know. Accidents happen." Another thing his mother used to say. He adored his mother, and her smothering. Even if he didn't show it on the surface. Draco looked at Payson. "He's still here, you know? He's still with you." He said. He leaned closer to her, on impulse. But, even though it felt like he should, he didn't get closer. He wasn't himself, and if he kissed Payson, it'd feel like he was just taking advantage of her moment of weakness. Which... he'd normally do. He'd be all too willing to take advantage of a girl's weakness. But, Payson, being with Payson, was different in his mind. He felt different, being around her, talking to her, listening to her. He wanted to tell her about the secrets he kept in his heart, but he had his pride to keep in mind. His damn pride.
