Jerall's face was one of grave solemness as he wheeled around the gurney with a body under white sheet, the two feet sticking out at the end, with a tag on the big toe of the left. Despite his outward expression he was smiling inwardly as he wheeled around his latest victim that the world knew of. He watched as nurses darted around and doctors filed about the rooms, ignoring the young morgue intern that made his way through the halls to the elevator. He listened to a young man wrestling with the doctors in one operatory, then caught sight of Jerall's face. his wrestling redoubled as he stared screaming. "no, no, no, no, no! I ain't letting that bastard touch me! he did it man i swear to god, he killed them! He touched them then POOF! they just fell down, man... i swear, you got to let me go!"
the man's screaming persisted even after Jerall left the hall. He was silently kicking himself for forgetting the witnesses. that man probably witnessed Jerall the other night when he was being pushed around by some gang bangers in his neighborhood. It was gruesome but certainly the furthest thing from inhumane... and he'd gotten rid of the bodies completely, with next to no biological remnant or evidence at all.
Stopping down in the morgue, Jerall left the body in the morgue next to Doctor Engval, who back was currently turned around doing an autopsy on another body. "What is this one?" She asked, he voice tired from working on her feet for twelve hours straight.
"Another one of the weird ones according to the officers..." Jerall said, keeping his voice in check. This was the usual when he forgot to completely get rid of a failed experiment. It had happened several times now, but the police were left in the dark as to who this strange case of murder might belong to.

Why do these assholes always drain it before midnight, Callie thought to herself, pressing the cappuccino button fiercely. Not like she needed coffee, she would never fully sleep again, sure some micro naps, but not a good whole sleep. With a soft sigh, she crushed the coffee cup and threw it into the trash can. Tonight is gonna be long night, she had stopped coming to the hospital since she turned, but the blood supply was running dry and the hours weren’t adding up in the intern office.
Walking out of the work room, she bumped to Doctor Franklyn. “Monmair, I’ve been looking for you,” he mumbled underneath his pepper moustache. She turned slowly, trying not to roll her eyes. “Yes, Doctor?” oh he loves that, douche. He smirked and handed over his clipboard. “The morgue is collecting some new bodies. A few are meant to be cadavers, just write the names and get back to me…in my office.” He sucks at flirting and hes not even attractive enough. “yeah yeah yeah,” she mumbled, taking the clipboard and taking the elevator the basement.
She use to hate the smell when she was human, the smell of formaldehyde and alcohol was the smell of hell on earth, but now it was kind of cheerful. Her green scrubs were rubbing against her skin when she walked out of the metal box and knocked on the glass door. Please good, let it be a nurse. With a faithful peek, she looked in to see some new guy. Jesus, she thought, slipping in staring him up and down. He was tall and lanky and had eyes that could capturing anyones soul. Double Jesus, she thought again, tapping her nails on the clipboard. “I’m here for the shipment of cadavers?”

Jerall watched as Doctor Engval left the room with a tired sigh, leaving him alone with the body. Suddenly curious about the extent of damage the body suffered he lifted up the sheet and whistled softly as he got a fresh look at the disfigured face. It looked as if someone had taken a buzz saw to the bone while passing straight through the flesh without a single cut then glued the remnants of the bone in a manner similar to abstract art. teeth poked out the cheeks, the nose was bloated and seemingly swollen while everything else was grotesquely lengthened, shortened or widened. it was hardly something to appreciate but Jerall relished the chance to look his work over, to see what he messed up a second time in decent lighting this time. He examined the rest of the body, a similar transformation having happened on the rest of the body, though, where the abdomen should have been filled with organs now was a hollow depression that Jerall could feel the spine through. Upon hearing a voice he turned around, quickly dropping his smile in lieu of his previous grim face. The voice originated from a woman... fairly young from the looks of her, pretty enough, he supposed and blond hair in green scrubs.
He shrugged when she asked him about a shipment of cadavers . "i wouldn't know about that... i'm just an intern in the morgue... Doctor Engval would know, though she stepped out for a bit... she's been doing none stop autopsies from the shoot out in Queens earlier... then there's this..." He paused and turned around, pulling up the sheet just enough so that the woman could see the body behind him, waving her to come look.

Oh great, I’ll have to wait till she comes back. With shifting her eyes, Callie looked from the clipboard to the body he was obviously watching. With a sigh, she set it on the table and looked beside him at the body. It was completely gruesome, but with the changes she had seen worse and even when she was the cause. Her hand hovered over the body’s leg, trying to feel any pulse of life left, but it had drained a few hours before.
She looked up at the guy and accidentally looked into his eyes. They were what she have pictured death to look like, a pale blue to look oh so innocent. “Its sad sometimes-“ She commented, looking away from him to the body. “This is all you ever get to know about them and yet you could know more than they ever could.” Expect their souls….their souls were precious and always left at impact. With a look around, she saw the place was clean and sterile like the rest of the hospital, but she expect it to be all cob webs and arms hanging from the ceiling and DAMNIT Girl, forget his eyes.

Jerall nodded. "The loss of life is sad... always... but sometimes it is necessary as well... even though i hate saying those words... what we can't understand is how the hell someone could do this... we've spent hours performing autopsies on these things... and yet nothing and everything is the same at the same time..." He shook his head, his hair whipping his face lightly. "If we could bring them back, wouldn't they want us to? ... and if we could make them whole, or even better than before, wouldn't they want that as well?" He mused to himself, repeating to himself his usual mantra. Staring at the corpse he tried to recall what attempt it was, his hands balling into fists when he couldn't remember as he had lost track a long time ago.
Jerall looked over his shoulder when he heard the door open again, this time two skeptical looking police officers waving him over. Grudgingly, he complied and walked over. "Sorry about this kid... but there's a guy upstairs who says he knows you... says you're into some freaky stuff so we-" Is it the man in 221?" Jerall cut in, annoyed at the interruption and the cop's stupidly friendly attitude. "Yeah... so you heard him, eh?" Jerall nodded in reply then asked. "Would you mind if i spoke to him... i want to know what he thinks i'm into and try and set him straight... i'm a morgue intern, not a necrophiliac... could i talk to him in private?" The officers looked at each other for a second. "Alone? Sure... but Bradford here will be standing outside the door..."

Callie just looked at him with a dark gleam in her eye. Something is wrong with him, problem was her vampire side wasn't picking it up it was her witch. Being of earth, a witch had the keen sense to be attracted to life whether healing it or not. He was just surrounded in darkness and it was pulsing. With a nod, she walked away from him and looked at the list, taking a small notice in the police officers.
The list was full of the basket applicants and only 3 of them had nice and tiddy little crosses beside them. All heart attack victims, the best organ donors and medical dummies. Writing the names quickly on her notpad, she walked to the door putting a slight hand on the guys shoulder. "Hey, I'm heading out. Tell Doctor Engval that I need to meet with her tonight-" She sneered and leaned to his ear. "Please and Thank you."
With a small nod to the police, she walked out the door only to lean against the wall listening in.

Jerall looked at both of the cops, trying to decide how to kill the two of them. He could easily destroy their bodies completely and utterly but the end result would be incredibly messy and the uniforms would also be noticed, but it was the best way to avoid having to cart around some corpses and draw suspicion.
"Ok... So you ready to head up and talk to..." Officer Bradford started before Jerall clapped his hands together, a red spark arcing from his palms as he pulled them apart then put them both on Bradford's chest, a sudden flash of red light erupting where Jerall's hands touched. Bradford's face went blank as his skin sudden roiled as if something was boiling him from the inside then his entire body suddenly exploded. As soon as Jerall's hands left Bradford's chest after the entire body exploded his partner was going for his gun but was stopped when Jerall gripped his hand then slammed his foot into the officer's leg, sending him over Jerall's shoulder and into the ground before exploding as well.

Callie jumped with the sudden burst of a sound. Her skin was chilled to the touch, but for some reason a shiver went throught her bodie. Her hand pressed against the cool metal door and peeked in. Dear god, she thought putting a hand to her mouth. Bits of flesh and other bodily material was strewn across the room and a few eyeballs were looking up from the floor.
Quickly rushing in, Callie leaned against the floor and put her hands over a large chunk of a leg and began to focus her enegry in her touch. Come on damn it, have a little life in you she thought watching her hands start to turn a pale red color.
The chunk started to quiver, little bits inching it it to connect the ligments, but then it shook and stopped. All the life was gone...he couldn't be brought back. "Dammit" she thought, falling back on the ground and looking into the creepers eyes. "You-you did this. Your fucking insane!" Her hands climbed up the walls and looked him into the eyes and tried to decide not to kill him

Jerall stood, watching the woman carefully as she rushed in and tried to do something to the chunk of meat in front of her. the muscle quivered the stopped, obviously unable to do whatever she wanted it to do. His face broke into a deep scowl upon being called insane. He preferred the term "dangerous visionary" over insane though he knew many would argue against that.
"So? I said it earlier... sometimes deaths are necessary... i cannot have them knowing about me... just like i cannot have the one upstairs knowing about me... just like... you..." Jerall's eyes narrowed to barely visible slits as his brows suddenly curved downward and his face wrinkled with a demonic expression of what appeared to be a form of cold wrath. He slapped his hands together again then placed them in a puddle of blood, the blood suddenly quivering then looking as if it had exploded even smaller before semmingly vanishing from sight completely, leaving few traces of what had happened aside from the larger pieces.

Jesus, hes freaking cracy she thought, backing against the wall. He wasn't born anything different--or I would have smelt it in his blood. Her own eyes narrowed, ignoring the thought of his features and simply thinking of the things he was doing. A murderer and god knows what else and he was standing in front of her, acting like he was doing nothing.
Her eyes looked at the door and started to inch to it. She was either going to kill him OR-- run for life and find someone who can get away with it take care of him. When he beant down to the floor, she made a rush to the door. Her hands fumbled with the handle and she bolted down the hall.

jerall looked up from underneath his brow as the woman decided to take off, running frantically past him. Clapping his hands again he touched the floor, all the itty bitty pieces of flesh remaining of the officers suddenly moving towards him. drawn in as if he had stuck a magnet inside them then turned another one on. Satisfied that all pieces were present he clapped his hands again then touched the pile of flesh, every bit of it vanishing in a flash of red light as with the blood. Standing up he retrieved the officers' uniforms and weapons then threw them into a duffel bag then chucked the bag down a garbage chute nearby. Suddenly remembering his own self, he clapped his hands then touched his chest, all the blood and gore vanishing with the purifying red light. He smiled then pushed his way out the door, brushing past Doctor Engval who was looking over her shoulder at the young woman darting down the hallways.
'What is wrong with that young lady... is there an emergency?" she asked, sipping her coffee. Jerall shook his head the gestured over his shoulder. "No i showed her the latest member of the freak show hall of fame... didn't take to it too well..." His voice pleasant and perfectly modulated. Doctor Engval shook her head. "It's that bad huh? well i can't wait to see what our mystery guy looks like this time...' She sighed before pushing through the morgue doors, leaving Jerall in the hall. calmly walking, strangely pleased with himself

Her senses were going haywire, you would think her heart would be beating out of her chest, but it was still cold and dead. Finally getting to end of the hall, she layed her back against the door. What could she possibly do...hell what was the harm in a little teasing, he didn't know she was "something". To that freaker, she was just a innocent little med intern.
Talk about wrong place, wrong time.Closing her eyes for a breath, she tried to think of what to say. "Hey!_" she yelled. Whether he could find her quickly or not, it would be fun to tease him. A little serial killer hide and seek. "Why did you kill them. They weren;t doing anything...they didn't deserve it"

Jerall's face remained stoic despite the young woman's teasing cries. He didn't acre about her egging him on but he could tell where she was now as several RNs stared at her location. He went another way, doubling back then walking a different route, appearing around a corner behind her, a wide grin on his face despite himself. He wasn't normally like this, but this was interestingly fun... something strangely primal about this hunting game. He controlled his steps until he was right next to her, his head peeking over her shoulders.
"You know something? i can't kill you in public... but this game of yours is fun..." His voice was low. "And to answer your question... they were talking to a witness of one of my... unintentional killings... but don't worry about that... just worry about staying alive..."

A breath caught in her throat and she didn't even dare turn to face him. The thought of his eyes looking at her. She turned her back to him and looked around the cornor. "This gameof mine won't last long, if you don't start to play--"
Jesus, I need to find a way to keep him going have him play along... Rubbing her neck, she set her hand against the wall. "Your a cold blooded murder, how unqiue. I think, whatever the hell you are are going to keep this going and I have every right to stop you.

Jerall watched her, her threats actually pretty futile and hollow on his ears. Smiling he touched his hands together, the tell-tale red spark arcing out between the palms. "Just remember... you asked for this when you ran..." Jerall said softly, his voice a sinister whisper filled with a primal venom of anticipation. He stepped away from her, a smile on his face unlike any other that had ever crossed his features before.
