"um, your welcome," She said, looking down, biting her lip. She had just blown fire out of her hand. What in the hell was she thinking!? She just showed what she was to this guy that she barely knew! But she was glad that she did. Otherwise, Leon would be dead...or would he?

"I do not need to tell you what I am, however you, girl I must say I am surprised" He said serious at first, but then softened to a light playful tone. She pushed away from him,

"I dont know what you are exactly, because the last time I saw someone move like that, they were a vampire and now they're dead, but you, you did not have his eyes," She sat on the ground only for a moment, then she was up, standing on her feet. "So, Mr. Grecco, what is to come of this," She said, waving her hand in the air.

"um, your welcome," her response wasn't what he expected, but was better, he actually thought she would run away, but again she was the exception of the girls he had know before.
"I don't know what you are exactly, because the last time I saw someone move like that, they were a vampire and now they're dead, but you, you did not have his eyes,"
Leon thought for a second, his mind flashed trying to found out what vampire she met before, but would that matter at the end? according to her he was death or she... He quickly thought of Callie, but would she be alive by this time? so many questions run trough his mind but the most important, could he trust her? he had no choice.
"I'm a Half Breed, I born this way, I didn't had a choice, I'm a Vampire, but also a human, my eyes would never turn red, but they can change into black, its a natural thing in my specie" he said quite slow and serious, trying not to scare her, or make her run. Also his eyes always looked at hers, he liked that, the eye contact, he didn't need to have powers to know if someone lie, with the simple eye contact he could know that.
"So, Mr. Grecco, what is to come of this,"
Leon stared at her and then laughed a bit "Do you mind?" he wanted to move out of that almost public place, so he moved his hand to his jeep, "Shall we?" he smiled, and tried to look not scary to her, at the end he was still being Leon, and to him she was still Lilly.

Lilly stood there, her arms crossed and her chin raised. She wanted an explination, and she got one. She uncrossed her arms. Her chin was still raised. She did not know what to do about this whole thing.

Leon was a vampire? She knew they were out there, but she did not know that the guy who was interested in her, was one. Well, Half of one. It made her think who else was a vampire out there.
She shook her head, placing a smile on her face.

"Hmm, I don't know if I can trust a vampire," She mused, twisting a lock of her hair around her finger. She looked down at her hand for a moment, then back up to Leon. "So, where are we off to?" She said, gracefully making her way to the other side of his jeep, and getting into the passenger seat. A confidant smile on her face.

"Hmm, I don't know if I can trust a vampire," leon smiled in a surprise way, now she was joking about the whole circus? well if she was fine with it, so he "Well you will have too, besides i dont know if you wont turn my jeep into ashes" he said almost laughing and walking to open the door of her side, once she was up he in a flash was in the driver seat.
"So, where are we off to?" such a confidant smile huh... "Where ever you want to" he said while he quickly get out of that place, but something crossed his mind, holy shit, i dont want to see the newspaper tomorrow, what would they say about those death body's for once instead of worry he laughed and said to lily. "You need to get home early?"

Lilly smiled a small smile. She was really going around town with a vampire. Then she silently laughed. She had been in the company of a Vampire the entire time, and did not know it, why should she change now that she knew the truth about him.

"Not really, allthough, my father has been trying to spend more time with me," she rolled her eyes. Her dad spending time with her? What a joke. The only time she saw her faterh was when he felt guilty, and gives her his credit card. Or when he was just passing though the house, needing her to help him find the keys to his car.

"so, Leon, why in the world would a vampire such as yourself, waste your time on me,?" She asked, quirking her eye brow, staring straight at him.

He saw a small smile in her face, and he just love it, he could look at her all the way but she could get afraid if she See's that he is not looking where hes driving at. So anyway he was enjoying the part of having her, even she knowing what was he, and he felt more joyful knowing that she wasn't normal at all. "Not really, although, my father has been trying to spend more time with me," she rolled her eyes, he always thought that he was the one with the parents problems, but it seemed that she was having troubles too, he got instantly curious about it.
"That should be nice, I mean at least you have a father, they are not perfect, but... i dont want to change your mind, because i just love the way you are, its only interesting, tell me more about your father, would you introduce me? sometime?" he said almost glorious with a big shinny smile, he knew she could not resist.
"so, Leon, why in the world would a vampire such as yourself, waste your time on me,?" Leon couldn't help himself but contain a little smile "Mmm i have time to waste" he smirked in a playful mood then he went back to a serious face and said almost in a whisper "Look Mrs. Van Allen if i wanted to waste my time, i would be in places like that" he pointed to a prostitutes alley "but i really enjoy the fact of being with you, your special to me, like something very precious you would never want to lose, and i will always be with you, as long as you let me stay, and it doesn't matter you dont let me i will have an eye on you, lets say i feel protective of you" he smirked and winked an eye to her.

Lilly's smile fell after his little speech. she sat there, in her seat, not moving. He felt protective over her? he would always be there for her? Those were words that she had been dreaming about all her life. words that she wanted to hear come out of the mouth of someone who cared about her. She should have been happy, but she wasn't. Her life was filled with men that left her, one way or another. Why should Leon be any different? She scolded herself for even starting to let her in the wall around herself. How could she do this, again. Every time she started to get close to someone, she turned an about face, and fled in the other direction.

"Leon, I-I can't" She wiped away a tear that rolled down her cheek. "Your a really great guy, but, I'm not ready to be someone's anything, I don't deserve to be their something, when it may be that they could never be my something,"

She started to get out of the car. Why did I even think about getting involved with this guy, I knew how it was going to end, it allways ends like this, with everyone I meet

She stood there, on the curb, wrapped up in her thoughts, looking for a cab to hail.

"Leon, I-I can't" he smiled suddenly fell, like the tear that ran below her cheek, she wasn't sure of course, and what more could he expected, he just showed her what he was and he knew he was going to be pushed away eventually, she wasn't a normal girl but he was a vampire and he couldn't change that, not in a million of years. His eyes get a little wet, for some reason she get to touch the most sensitive feelings in him, but he wouldn't show them anymore. She stepped out of the car. "Your a really great guy, but, I'm not ready to be someone's anything, I don't deserve to be their something, when it may be that they could never be my something,"
He hold more tight the wheel, he almost broke it, he close his eyes and with out looking at her he said "I cant be something if your making me your anything" he didn't meant to hurt her, but he couldn't be more hurt than that. "Please get in the car, i will drive you home, at least give me that gift, of knowing u will be safe" he said serious wanting to get the hell out of there.

She shook her head. The thing she needed right now, was to not be near Leon. He was nice, and caring, and she was just going to hurt him more and more. She raised her hand and hailed a cab, a frown on her face. The tear that fell down her face back there, she acted as if that had never happened. She would find out a way to get over the fact that she could not trust anyone, but it would have to be in time. She wished that Leon could understand that she was in no place to belong to anyone as the object of their affection. She sighed in relief as the cab rolled up. she ran a hand through her hair, and waved to Leon, but she was unsure if he saw it or not.

She was gone, that was for sure, he had lost Lilly, probably forever, and the most frustrating was that wasn't just because he was a vampire, maybe that was his destiny. Loneliness.
Leon nodded and a tear fell to the floor of the car, but he acted like if that never happened. He drove back home, as fast as he could, and he just lied on the bed, waiting for the dreams to come, but he couldn't sleep so he just started to think about his life.

love is not fancy, it's resignation
