The work day had gone by so slowly, so by the time Mr. Demonte was off he was feeling a bit anxious. Tonight he was going out on a date with Phoebe Goodwin and he still couldn't decide where to take her. There were hundreds of restaurants in Manhattan that Will loved to eat at, but he couldn't pick one that was good enough for her. He also wasn't sure what kind of food she liked. Eventually he decided on taking her to Tao Restaurant, which specialized in Japanese food. One of his favorites. He hoped that she liked it too. If not, then he'd take her somewhere else until she was happy.
It didn't take him too long to get ready. He put on a pair of black slacks, a striped button down shirt, and a charcoal gray jacket. His tie was black as well with small detail. His hair, done perfectly like usual. He wore his more expensive cologne and his Rolex watch that he only wore on special occasions. The man literally screamed money. He'd been working for the Parthenon long enough to have gotten a few nice raises, along with tenure. It was a job that fattened his wallet nicely. And even though the expensive things Mr. Demonte owned made him seem like someone who blows all his money, he did save quite a lot too.
It was 5:30, and Will made his way down into the parking garage and to his black BMW. Shifting the manual transmission, he was off to pick up his date. He remembered well where Phoebe lived, even though it was a few months ago since he had walked her home. Of course while she was away, he did take detours just to drive by and see if she was home. He'd never admit that though. Arriving just a little early, he parked his car along the curb in front of her homely looking building. With a deep breath, he stepped out of his car and walked up to the door. He rang the doorbell that said 'Goodwin' and waited with his hands resting in his pockets.

Phoebe had rushed home right after school let out. She probably broke about 20 traffic laws just to get home in record time. Before her apartment down could slam shut, she was pulling off her clothes to hop into the shower. Her main concern was to look glamorous. William always looked well dressed, no matter what time of the day Phoebe saw him and now if she was going to date him then she would have to look the same. She stood in front of her open closet in just a towel. All of her clothes now seemed not to be good enough for him. She wanted to look perfect for him. Searching through her clothes seem to take longer than she expected. Finally near the back of her closet she found a simple black dress that flowed nicely and had a little bit of a low cut, nothing too trashy though. She also picked out her nicest underwear from Victoria's Secret, it was black and lacy with a tiny pick rose bud on it. She wasn't sure how the night was going to end since she was the one that was letting William decide how it should end. After getting dress, she worked on her hair and makeup. She let her long hair down and put soft curls to it. She kept her make fairly soft except for some smoky eyes. Her final touch were her strap black high heels. Looking at herself in the mirror, Phoebe gave herself a pep talk. I can so do this. It's just a date...with ofcourse one of the most hottest guys ive ever had a date with. I can do this. Just then she heard her buzzer. "Oh shit!" It was time. She picked up her clutch and exited her apartment. She walked down the stairs to the main door and opened it. He looked perfect...as always but tonight he looked there was something more. "Hi..." she grinned and stepped forward. ooc; Dress

It felt like hours went by as Mr. Demonte waited for Phoebe to answer the door. But finally he heard footsteps coming down the stairs. The door opened, and there stood one of the most beautiful women he had ever seen.
"Hi..." she said as she stepped out.
William could not find his voice to speak. His eyes traveled down to her stiletto-clad feet, then slowly raised up as he took in her figure. It wasn't a discreet look at all, either. And he didn't care. He wanted her to know what he felt about her looks. The meek history teacher, Miss Goodwin, was damn sexy.
"You..." he started, finally looking into her eyes. "Wow." She was the one woman in his entire life that left him speechless. Instead of searching for something else to say, he leaned forward, one of his hands resting on her shoulder, and kissed her cheek. "Ready to go?" His hand trailed down off her shoulder until it reached her hand. William then moved towards the stone steps of the porch, leading her along towards his car.

There was a pause after she said hi to him. It seemed like he could get over her new look. It made her feel wonderful and boosted her confidence as she watched him look her over. All the hard work of prepping herself paid off. "You..." Phoebe smiled as he searched for his words. The whole moment seemed surreal. "Wow." The whole moment seemed perfect. She hoped the whole date would be like this. This just seemed like something straight out of her romance novels. It seemed like it was straight out of her dream. She felt his hand on her shoulder and a soft kiss on her cheek. It warmed her up from head to toe. "Ready to go?" She smiled and nodded. As his hand trailed down her arm, she felt electricity from his touch. Her fingers interlaced with his as he took her hand and lead her to his car. Once they got to his car, he opened the door for her and she stepped inside. She admired the luxurious car he was driving, but she didn't mention it. She didn't really care what William had, she just wanted to know more about William. "So where are you taking me?" Phoebe asked him as he got seated in his car. They could have gone to Micky D's for all she cared, she still would have been happy.

Upon reaching his car, Will held open the door for her, then closed it once she was seated. He made his way around the front of his car with a smile on his face. Tonight was hopefully going to be a good one. Hopefully she liked where he was taking her. Why the hell was he being so doubtful and nervous?
Mr. D got in the car and started it as she asked him where he was taking her. "Well, I hope you like Japanese," he said looking over to her as the car pulled off. "But if you don't-" he added quickly. "We could... always find somewhere else." Why was she making him into a babbling fool? He was always so concise with his speaking, but with Phoebe in his presence, his brain tended to turn into goo.
The car raced down the glowing streets of Manhattan. And soon they were in the heart of the city. Mr. Demonte then turned down a side road into a quieter area then came up to the restaurant. He parked the car, then came around to the passenger side to open the door for her. Since when was Mr. Demonte so chivalrous?

"Well, I hope you like Japanese," Phoebe grinned, she loved Japanese food and culture. She inhaled just about to mention that to him when he continued. But if you don't-".."We could... always find somewhere else." She tried hard not to grin too much at this. She found it kinda adorable that he was trying hard to please her or at least that was what it seemed. "I actually love Japanese food. One of my favorites." She turned to look out the window. The city was racing by them in his BMW car. The night just seemed perfect. As they pulled up to the restaurant. Phoebe went to open her door but William had beat her to the punch. She never ever had a guy open the door for her before, he seemed to be two steps ahead of her and she didn't mind at all. She took his arm again and they walked up to the restaurant. She just adored the decor of the place. The Japanese style always seemed so mystical and otherworldly to her. The two of them were lead by the hostess to a private booth. It was a perfect scene for an intimate dinner; low candle light lighting and even a screen that block their booth from the rest of the restaurant. Phoebe sat down and took a look at the menu. She looked at all the dishes, wondering what to order. When the waiter came around for their orders, phoebe ordered a dragon fruit tea and the chicken teriyaki. She waited for William to order and the waiter to leave in order to start a conversation. "So now that I've found out that you have only been up to the 'same old' while I was gone, the question is how are we going to fix that now?" She gave him a grin.

William and Phoebe strolled arms linked into the restaurant and were lead to a private booth in the back, just as he had requested when he called and made the reservations. From the waiter he ordered spicy Thai duck with rice and vegetables along with a green tea. He politely thanked their waiter then turned to Phoebe as she spoke.
"So now that I've found out that you have only been up to the 'same old' while I was gone, the question is how are we going to fix that now?"
Mr. Demonte chuckled. Fix his 'same old'? It would be tough, but Phoebe had a certain way of being able to change him. However he has been rather busy with his second job lately. He pondered quietly, wondering if he should let his date know. Tell her that I've been recruited to kill vampires, witches, and other crazy shit? Might not be the best idea to give the details just yet... he thought. "You're the one with the crazy ideas," he said as he smiled and leaned slightly over the table towards her. "Though I'm much more busy lately." Actually he should have been out 'working' right now. Hunting. It was just a little hard for him to get into the new job, being that a certain blond student was supposed to be on his hit list. Instead he decided to spend time with his beautiful coworker.

"You're the one with the crazy ideas,"Phoebe chuckled. She was indeed the one full of crazy ideas. Several of which just seemed to flash in her head; maybe take him for some dancing lessons, or maybe a jazz club. Though she wouldn't mind experiencing any new things with William. That was something Phoebe often enjoyed; trying new things...anything to shake up life. "I guess we will have to take it date by date" She locked eyes with him and smiled. She would thoroughly love to have more dates with William. It was then the drinks came. She cupped her hands around the warm cup that held her passion fruit tea and took a sip. The mixture of the fruit and herbs was a welcome taste. "Though I'm much more busy lately.""Oh, is that so? What's been keeping you busy? A new hobby?" This perked up her ears. She really wanted to know what William was like when he was just being himself. Any kind of peek underneath his shield was what she hoped for.

Mr. D smiled at the thought of more dates with Phoebe. She really knew how to have a good time, something that he was clueless about. Even though their date had just started, he was excited as to what the rest of the night held for them. And if Demonte was still the one deciding how the date was going to end... Well, you could say he was very excited.
"Oh, is that so? What's been keeping you busy? A new hobby?"
Laughing, he grasped his newly delivered tea and sipped. How did he know she would ask about it? She was always trying to figure him out. Most would think it would annoy the English teacher, but Phoebe did anything but annoy him. He actually liked when she asked about him and his life. "Well, you can say its a night job," he said shrugging it off as not a big deal. "It, uh, keeps me busy...." One of his hands absentmindedly traveled to his belt where he kept a gun hidden under his jacket. He used to never carry one, but with the constant harassing of his 'boss' Ville, he had to oblige. Besides, one could never be too careful with blood thirsty creatures on the lose.

She loved hearing him laugh. It felt warm and comforting to her ears. It seemed like he was being very mysterious about this new night job of his, but then again when is William ever not mysterious? She couldn't help but press forward with her questioning. She wanted to figure it out, break his little code. "Let me guess....are you writing something? Maybe an espionage thriller?" Her eyes widen as she took it even further to make it seem more ridiculous. "Maybe it is about your real life double life as an international spy? By day a literature professor and at night, a kick-ass spy" She chuckled since he already dressed the part of the dashing spy. "I do hope though that this new night job isn't going to make you too tired to dance. I would hate for you to fall asleep on the dance floor."

"A spy?" he laughed again. "You could say that its kind of like being a spy." Mr. Demonte mused the idea through his head. He was in a lot of ways like a spy. Trying to find these creatures and kill them off with his fancy new gun that shot silver bullets. "its pretty dangerous actually..."
"I do hope though that this new night job isn't going to make you too tired to dance. I would hate for you to fall asleep on the dance floor."
The word dance normally got a negative reaction from Will, but with the prospect of dancing with Phoebe, he was almost excited. But about his job tiring him out, he wasn't so sure about that. He hadn't yet had any confrontations with any vampires, but he did have a few hunches as to who was one. He was set to meet Ville sometime soon, and hopefully he'll have a real assignment to do. It was nerve wracking, especially since Demonte was still skeptical about these creatures. But Ville was a pretty convincing guy.
"You won't have to worry about that," he said coming back to the conversation. "Though its still a new job to me, so I don't know everything yet." He was being as honest as he could be with her right now. Mr. Demonte wasn't too sure about who was allowed to know about his new line of work.

You could say that its kind of like being a spy." Phoebe lean closer over the table. She wasn't sure if William was messing with her or not but she was very curious as to what this new job could be. its pretty dangerous actually..." Her mind was just racing with questions. He was not going to get off the hook too easily. She wanted the know what the new job was and it was probably be on her mind until he tells her. Phoebe just watched him curiously. She tried to pick up on any hints from his appearance as to what the new job could be but to her, he was just the same old William that she had a crush on from work. The William that hates the teacher's lounge and the same William she danced with and kissed on their first date. "You won't have to worry about that, "Though its still a new job to me, so I don't know everything yet.She was going to ask more about the job when the food came. The waiter placed their dishes in front of them and then left. She picked up the chop sticks and began eating her food. The warmth of her chicken teriyaki and brown rice was a nice welcome. Though as she chewed her food, she just wondering what on earth could William be doing at night. "Since I feel like I'm asking all of the questions, let's play 20 questions. So if I ask one question then you can ask me one about anything. and I have to answer." She smiled hoping he would like the idea.
