Lilly stared down into her chai tea in its huge wine colored cup. she was waiting on Callie, Alex, Gia, Gioia, Brianna, Samuel and Olivia. They were all to plan the 'Spring Frolic'. Lilly in charge since they chose to have her home be the location of the party. She was honored, but she was not used to all of this responsibilities. She would have to hire a decorator, and caterer, a DJ, it was going to give her a major headache. But it was going to be fun.
When she had received the envelope with fancy calligraphy on it from some group her father had insisted she joined, so she could be more familiar with people that she should associate with. She shook her head. thinking that he should be regretting that choice now, since it was his home being used for the party. Everyone was dying to see the inside of the Fifth avenue Mansion, where no party like this had been held before. She guessed he was not upset at all. It would be a perfect opportunity to show off his home to the presses, more publicity, he would lap that up.
She stretched out her legs, and watched the door, waiting to see any of the people she was waiting for.

Gioia hailed a taxi as she made her way to wards were Lilly had asked her to meet up to plan the spring frolic. If anything Gioia loved parties and planning them. Leave it to her to bust a few moves on the dance floor. She was a dancer, always had been and if things went her way, always will be. The cab ride seemed dreadfully long and all Gioia wanted to do was get planning on the party. Ideas filled her head of what she thought could be very interesting for this party. All she wanted was her coffee and to get planning. Gioia exited the cab and walked into the cafe. She smiled at Lilly letting her know she was here as she made her way towards the counter to order her regular Cinnamon Dulce Skinny Latte. All she needed to do was flash one smile and the guy behind the counter knew exactly what she wanted. With her latte in hand she walked over towards Lilly sitting down. "You ready chica?" she asked as she sat across from Lilly. outfit THIS

Callie looked at the unlite cigerette in her fingers and sighed. This was a year thing and the time was upon them-but Callie wasn't feeling this year. The vampire blood has made her feel anything, but human or like a witch. Her powers were dull and hell maybe this thing would spike it up. Throwing the fag on the ground she looked around to see any other witches walking and she managed to see Gio step in and thought might as well walk in after her. Opening the door, she looked to see Gio and Lilly sitting and enjoying themselves. Callie help up a note and smiles. "Hello, Loves. I brought my who do list and what to do list,"She walks in over to the counter and picks up a coffee that a distracted young woman was waiting on and sat next to Gio DO IT LIKE THEY DO IT ON_______ CHANNEL

Traffic was terrible, but nothing was going to put Gia in a bad mood today. Meeting the girls, all of them, all at once, for lunch and party planning -- it was going to be a good day. It wasn't very often that they all were able to get together so she was going to enjoy the day as much as possible. Slamming the taxi door behind her, she grinned and walked into the little coffee shop. After ordering her green tea frap with extra foam, she joined Lilly, Callie and Gioia to wait for the others. As she sat, she heard Callie's comment and laughed. "Are those lists for this party or for your every day use, Cals?" she snarked with a friendly smile. "Hello, ladies. How is everyone?" Alex groaned and rubbed her temples from beneath her dark sunglasses as she walked down the sidewalk, heading toward the place that Lilly had told her to come to, so that they, and a few others, could plan the 'Spring Frolic' that was coming up. She wasn't exactly in too swell a mood today, though, so she was a bit hesitant in leaving the apartment building today. The night before, she'd went to one of her favorite spots, and... well, it didn't exactly end too well. Or maybe it did. It was kind of mixed with good and bad. The bad part, was she came home wearing nothing except her bra, underwear, and some guy's coat. The good part, however, was that the guy was a total hottie. So it was worth it. But, yet another bad part, was she now had the world's largest hangover from all of the tequila shots. The witch tried to avoid touching as many people as she could as she walked through New York, holding on tightly to the strap of her book bag that hung off her right shoulder, which held her cell phone, mp3, and notebook, on which she was working on her latest sketch. She'd missed sketching... and was glad she was back to it. Alex huffed and entered the little shop, and, after spotting Lilly, Gia, Gioia, and Callie, she walked over. “Hey. Sorry I'm a tad late... I didn't exactly feel like getting up today.” She hugged all four, before sitting beside Callie in a chair and crossing one leg over the other and lightly drumming her fingernails on the table. Glancing around, she finally took off her sunglasses and slid them up onto the top of her head with a grimace. The lights in the room still bothered her, but whatever. “So, let's get to planning, shall we?” Clickie!

Lilly looked up as Gio entered the coffee shop. A grin broke across her face. She was glad someone showed up finally, not that they were late, she was early. She waited while Callie, and Gia came into the shop as well. Alex came in late, she looked slightly hagered, she smiled and hugged her friend.
"Okay guys.." She looked around at all of them like they were her c-conspiraters. which was part true because they were helping her plan. "Now, I was thinking about hiring >Nova Catering< They have a very large menu, and I think it's perfect," she said, laying out the menu [click on the link] on the table, having Proscuitto, asparagus canape circles among other things on the menu. She watched each of their faces. "I was also thinking that we should hire >Eventique<, I was thinking about going in an elegant, yet colorful light direction?" She raised an eyebrow at them.

Stealing the menu before anyone else could, sticking her tongue out playfully at her friends, Gia laughed and looked it over. Wow, that's a lot of food, she thought as she scanned the pages. There were so many delicious things and, call her a glutton, but her favorite page was sure to be the desserts when she got to it. Besides, she didn't know much about Eventique or things like that. Helping with the menu would be best for her, given that she loved to cook as well.
"Ohhh, Italian," she sighed happily and pressed the menu to her chest. "I love Italian. It has everything!" Looking over the Italian menu, Gia practically swooned. Looking at the Italian desserts, she was disappointed there was no sign of gelato. "How in the hell can you have an Italian menu wihtout gelato? Or cannolis, for that matter. It's a crime," she mumbled to herself. Setting the menyu back on the table for someone else to look at it.
Gia turned to Lilly and said, "That's a lot of food to choose from. The ones you have circled are great though! There's variety between meat, seafood, fruits, salads, soups, etc. There's plenty of all of them to satisfy even the pickiest eater in New York." Smiling, she nodded at her approval of the menu choice Lilly had made.

"As long as there is calamari, I'm good." Gioia said taking a glance at the menu seeing calamari on the list. She didn't look long at the list besides food wasn't really her forte. She believe in the simple Rachel Ray meals since she had no gift for cooking at all. "But don't leave the food to me, as long as I'm no where near the kitchen, I'm down with whatever you chicas choose."
Gioia took a sip of her latte as she nodded her head about Eventique being hired. "Yes go with Eventique. They did my grandparents vow renewal ceremony and it was lovely. Go with them I can vouch for them." Biting her lip she looked up at the rest of girls coming up with an idea in her head. "What if we had it themed like 1920's or Victorian Era or something like that?" Her blue eyes looked at the girls wondering how they would take the idea.

He hated being the only boy in the coven. He and Alex could manipulate fire, sure, but he was, at least now, the only boy. He had been invited by Lily, and of course he wouldn't say no, because honestly, he just wanted to see the inside of her house. The train, as always, ran late, but he entertained himself most of the way by thinking about most of these girls going south of 42nd street, and getting massive nosebleeds. That would honestly make his day. But, he quickly stopped laughing as he approached the girls. He smiled as he saw them all , just as he pictured them, beautiful and very expensivly dressed. Having only met Lily (and the one from his english class, Gioia) He was pleasently surprised. They looked nice, and were nice to look at. " Ladies. My name's Sam." he flashed a smile to Lily. " Hey Lils, Sorry I'm late." Boys wear clothes too...

“Always, G”
Callie tapped her nails against the table, gazing over at the menu. Lily was so good at this it was practically scary. This food was the last thing on her mind, but it was nice to know all the others would fed. The stuffed goat cheese olives looked delious even to her. Sipping the apparent skim milk latte, she looked at the others girls and heard the ideas. “I’m content with lots of strawberries and whip cream and cherries-“She casted a glance at the girls with a slight wink. “-of course”
What if we had it themed like 1920's or Victorian Era or something like that?"
Callie pretended to moan at Gio’s idea and clap her hands in happiness. “What about like modern Victorian? Like um whats the term—Steam punk? I’d love it, corsets, ribbons, pocket watches, what do you guys think?” She asked, licking the foam off her finger.
She turned a saw a strange guy walks towards them. “Ladies, my name’s Sam,” Huh she thought looking over him. This must be Flint she thought thinking back to a night of late night texting. The obvious new male witch…never thought I’d live to see the day. “Callisto, but most call me Callie,” She nodded to him as a greeting and turned back with a wink to Gio and Gia.

“What about like modern Victorian? Like um whats the term—Steam punk? I’d love it, corsets, ribbons, pocket watches, what do you guys think?” Gioia took a sip of her latte and thought about the idea. Steam punk didn't seem like a bad idea at all. They could even play around with it. It was something that hadn't been done before. "Now that would be hella awesome. It's edgy and I don't think we have ever done anything like that." She looked around at the other girls waiting to hear what they thought about it.
As the guy approached, Gioia recognized him right away. The guy from her English class. She couldn't forget that face. Who could?"Ladies. My name's Sam." So that's what his name was. Gioia flashed a smile as she set her latte down on the table. "Well finally a name with the face. I'm Gioia or Gio whatever you prefer." A guy witch? With all these girls talking gossip and doing each other's hair while gabbing about American Idol, it was about time there was a guy in the group.
Gioia saw the wink Callie gave her. She winked back knowing what just happened. There was no blaming Callie at all. "Sam why don't you have a seat please, we would hate for you to stand the entire time. I promise we play nice." A pause consumed her silence. "Well most of the time."

She smiled and nodded for a second, about all the food. She was actually quite proud of herself to have found a caterer and a decorator. Her eyes lit up at the victorian idea.
"That, is absolutely perfect," She said, sipping on her tea. She was trying to think of an outfit to wear. "Gosh, no matter what, my mind jumps to the wardrobe," he chuckled and smiled at Sam who was entering the coffee shop.
She waved him over. "Guys this is Sam Norcross, Sam, these are the girls," She said, gesturing to a seat at the table for him to sit.
"Okay, that idea, brilliant, and Sam, if you want to look over the menu, here it is, and were goping with Eventique, thats good, right? And I think we should have the fashion show in the main foyer at around noon," She said, reffering to the show in the day time that they put on every year for the young fashion designers of the school to come and show case their stuff. "Okay, so after she show, everyone will leave, until later on that night, and thats when the designers will come in, and," She looked around at all of them. "The mothers all seem to want all of us and some of our friends maybe, to model in the show," She waited for their reactions.

"I think I'll just stick to music...food isn't really my forte.." He sat down, and pulled the menu twords him, inspecting it closley. God, most of this food cost more than his house. He really hoped he didn't have to pay for a plate. He's be eating mints from the bathroom if he did..
Why were they winking? Whatever. he reached into his pocket and pulled out the list of bands he had scribbled down that needed to be played..now how much would a dj cost?
And I think we should have the fashion show in the main foyer at around noon.
He hated that damn fashion show. But, maybe this year they could make it intresting. Maybe this year it could mean something..
"Here's an idea, and I'm just throwing this out there..With the cost of student entry for the show, why don't we buy clothes to give out at homeless shelters, you know, help the community a little bit." He took a deep breathe. "It would be alot of great publicity for the school.."

At Callie's suggestion of the clearly sexual desserts, Gia laughed and shook her head. "Of course you are, Cals," she said with a hand on the fellow blondes shoulder. "However, I think the rest of the guests will need something a bit more substantial to eat." Turning to Lilly, she seriously asked, "How do oysters sound?" before laughing. "Just kidding. I hate those things."
At the idea of Steam Punk, Gia grinned and nodded enthusiastically. Immediately, ideas started flooding her head. That was when he came in. "Ladies, my name’s Sam." Looking him up and down, Gia quirked a smile. A male witch? She didn't believe it. The winks between Callie and Gioia made her shake her head and hold a hand out to Sam.
"I'm Gia. Ignore them. Hard, I know, but safer for you in the long run. Trust me," she told in conspiratorally, playfully bumping shoulders with her friends. Sure, Sam was cute but he was a boy. Gia's sights were set much higher. Besides, she'd never really been just friends with a guy. Maybe Sam would be the first? And it would be easy to be truthful with him, considering he was a witch as well. No secrets.
"And I think we should have the fashion show in the main foyer at around noon," Lilly said. Gia nodded, remembering hearing about the show that happened every year at the school. She'd never been before. "Okay, so after she show, everyone will leave, until later on that night, and thats when the designers will come in, and the mothers all seem to want all of us and some of our friends maybe, to model in the show." Lilly looked at all of them and Gia shifted uncomfortably.
"I-I don't know about all that," she stated nervously. "I love you and all, Lils, but I don't think that'd be a good idea for me. I'm mean, I've never even been to a fashion show, let alone thought about being in one. I'd probably fall flat on my face or something."
"Here's an idea, and I'm just throwing this out there," Sam began, sounding almost cautious. "With the cost of student entry for the show, why don't we buy clothes to give out at homeless shelters, you know, help the community a little bit?" Gia crossed her arms atop the table and leaned forward, smiling at him. "It would be alot of great publicity for the school..."
"That is a phenominal idea, Sam. All our families give to charities and whatnot. It's about time we started doing it, too." Although Gia already donated to plenty of charities, one more wouldn't put a dent in her bank account.

I'm mean, I've never even been to a fashion show, let alone thought about being in one. I'd probably fall flat on my face or something." Callie scouffed at Gia and put a reauring hand on her leg. “You in a fashion show, would be to die for. Its pretty fun, I’ve been in a few,” she said, setting her cup on the table and crossing her legs. The idea of Gia wearing a corset and stocking and god knows what else was a estatic idea. With a careful ear she heard what Sam said and decide not to say anything. Charties always rubbed her the wrong way, but having them do it wouldn’t irk her anyway. Her mind tried to think back to all specialized event and remembered what they dd. Then something popped in her mind. “Well, I’m not one for many ideas, but one thing we can do is show old silent movies on like the floor or around,”Oh what was that one song, um The Carnival Song by the Silent Comedey, they always used silent movies in their music videos. Taking her hair down, she started to play with one of her curls looking from Gia to Sam.
