Callie belted her trench coat and looked over her shoulder at her date. He was a complete bore and that was the last thing she needed at some fancy dinner party. Her mother sent her to this boring thing because she was fooling around with her lasting boy toy who she had never official met. “ Night Brayen,” she said casually, flipping her hair over her shoulder. The golden boy loosened his tie and smirked like a wolf. “ Come on, Cal. Not even a kiss good night?” She rolled her eyes, knowing full well he didn’t deserve it. All night was full of her pulling out her card and listening to him gloat about his exercise routine. She patted his chest and managed to smile. “Sorry, Doll. Not tonight,” She turned her back and exited the building. He yelled out something completely vulgar, but Callie didn’t care. Her heels clicked against the New York sidewalks and she gave up to where she was going. Her hunger was subsided due to the big feast that morning and she could live for awhile. Her head turned to see some sort of beacon. A bright red sign screaming, “ PEEP SHOW BAR.” Below it read, “ Seeing is Believing” A smirk grew on her lips and she walked through the door. Most of the heads inside turned to her and she just sat at the bar, slightly enjoying it. “ White Russian” The bartender nodded and tended to her drink. She crossed her legs and slipped off the trench coat to let herself cool down. Boredom started to over come her, but she hoped something would change that.

Bars were just where Hephzibah Owens liked to hang around. It was the best place to find men who were "happily" married. Doing this for close to 300 years, Hephzibah was quite good at it. She was a demon and not just any demon, a siren to be exact. She gave married men one little kiss and they were dead while the wife burned into flames. The last fifty years were the best, she spent the time as a stripper and loved it. It wasn't because she demonic but because she killed more men in the last fifty years then she had before then. Men heard her song and were drawn to her. It was her specialty. Hephzibah really didn't want to leave Las Vegas but people were starting to doubt if she was really 50 years old. After all who wants to see a fifty year old stripper? It was time to pack up and leave. The demon made her way back to the east coast where she had left soon after her demonic transformation. But she was back and those wives better hold on to their husbands and tightly too. Hephzibah made her way to a bar with flashing red lights say "PEEP SHOW BAR". "Now that's what I'm talking about" she thought to herself as she made her way over to the bar. Inside it wasn't as glamorous as Vegas but it would just have to do. Besides she needed to kill again before she got all cranky. She walked over to the bar and ended up sitting next to a young blond. "Red Apple" she asked getting ready for the night. outfit this

Callie’s fingers tapped against the glass when a smell came into the room. It wasn’t some rude smell it was…drawing. Apparently no one else was smelling it either, and hell it was probably her vampire and witchy sense acting up.
Her hair flipped to the side and she stared over to a very attractive girl. Obviously just walked in and had a body that would draw anyone in. Her body was perfectly framed in her black dress and it was obvious she was on the look tonight.
With a playful smirk, she tried and not think of what she wanted to say and do. When the girl asked for her drink, Callie motioned the bartender. “I’ll pay for both” She smiled over at the girl and took a 20 out of her jacket pocket and handed it over.
“Keep the rest for the other drinks” Sipping at the white Russian, she winked over at the girl and held out her hand. “Hi there. I’m Callie,” Whatever this girl was dosed with was making Callie’s hormones to go haywire, but it didn’t matter. A nice night between two strangers,

As the blond gave the bartender money for her drink, Hephzibah looked over at her. "Thanks sugar." She said as she raised her drink up to her as if saluting her. It wasn't often that a woman bought her drink. Usually it was the men but it was after all the 21st century and things were a lot different now. But it still didn't change how Hephzibah killed her mortals.
She took the girl's hand and shook it. "Hephzibah." She paused for a moment. Hephzibah was a very uncommon name for this day and age. So as she took a sip, she looked at the girl who just introduced herself as Callie. "And yes I gave my parents hell for that. Named after some old grandmother who did something important." Not really but she didn't need to trouble this pretty young thing with the fact she was immortal with eternal youth as long as she killed at least once a week.
Her eyes glanced around the bar. Didn't seem exactly like someone the girls age would hang around here. But Hephzibah sense were on high alert she could feel the pulls of love from various men sitting at the bar and around the room to the wives back home. Her cold eyes looked backed at Callie. "So what brings a sweet little thing like you to place like this?"

With a twisted sneer, she raised her glass to the stranger and sipped it diligently. A night that started out with bad timing, bad food and bad cell phone coverage and now being in a place she had never step foot in, only meet some complete stranger—it was a witch moment in a New York Minute. Hephzibah huh, how strange, but after knowing a few good witches, wizards, and god knows what else.
"And yes I gave my parents hell for that. Named after some old grandmother who did something important."
With a soft chuckle, she looked down into the light brown liquid. Eh, that’s where all the great names come from. Crossing her legs, she turned to face Hezibeth-Hezi whatever. Her eyes were looking all around, apparently bored at the situation. A tad insulting in Callie’s mind, but she wouldn’t mind adding a guy into the mix. "So what brings a sweet little thing like you to place like this?" Putting a finger on the tip of the glass, she pushed it forward for a refill. “Boredem mostly and I was hopeing for a little pick me up to spare me a good day.

Hephzibah let out a laugh. "Boredom in the city that never sleeps? Oh sugar how could you be bored here? I could see in the suburbs being bored but in the heart of the city..." She leaned in closer to Callie, "advice from one girl to another, you can never be bored when you have men all around you." A wink came over her right eye towards the blonde.
Taking a good drink of her red apple, she almost finished the glass. If only she could feel the effects of it. But was the cost of being a demon. To feel human emotion was gone, to be human was gone. Her cold eyes looked back at Callie. "A girl like you should never be alone." She nodded towards a group of men sitting at the end of the bar looking over at the two girls. Would could blame them? It probably wasn't often that this bar was graced with the presences of two attractive women. The men weren't all that bad looking. They looked like love sick puppies. Just looking at them made Hephzibah think of the irony.

With a careful smirk, she couldn’t help, but think back to Brayen and how horrible he acted the entire night. “All men can be fun only if they shut up,” Her fingers kept playing with her hair, an odd sense of perfection coming over her. She looked over her shoulder to see almost every single guy looking over at them. Sure she got some attention, but nothing ever like this, it has to be this girl—what the hell is with her.
Turning back to the girl, she saw her cold eyes dead locked on her. "A girl like you should never be alone." She was motioning to the other guys and Callie didn’t know what to think. Pick up a guy from a bar thanks to the advice from some stranger? It was all a little weird. “The one in the blue plaid,” She said, looking over at him with a smirk. “He won’t be alone tonight,” Jesus, what the hell am I doing?

A laugh rang out of Hephzibah that sounded almost like a song. The siren's song. The song that once she found her prey she started singing. "Yes if only they learned to shut their mouths. Nothing of vaule come out of those mouths." Polishing off her red apple she motioned to the bartender to fill her up. Her devilish smile flashed and the bartender filled up her glass as well as Callie's. "On the house ladies." Those were words that Hephzibah heard often. Her cold dark eyes looked at the bartenders wedding finger. No ring. So there was no reason for him to be under her spell. It must have been Callie. She was attractive after all. The girl could hold her own pretty well.
As Callie mentioned about the man in the blue plaid, Hephzibah looked him up and down. "I'm sure we would like that." Her cold eyes looked over and saw that man dress in the red shirt had a wedding ring on. That was the guy that Hephzibah would chase after. Besides she was doing his wife a favor. A man with a wondering eye always needed to be taught a lesson. "Shall we send that little group a few drinks over?"

She looked at Hezi and grinned like a bad woman. I like her, she knows who to hold her stones in place and count them twice. Plus the free refills were becoming a brillant turn out. No matter how good all this ways, that stupid saying, Mr. D always said was getting to her. Gift horses are the ones that sedeuce you and turn you out, why deny them? "Thanks" She nodded to the bartender. Not bad she thought watching him walk away.
"Shall we send that little group some drinks over?"
Callie looked over at them and started to taped her fingers on the bar top. "Course, but what. not what they want, it means we want to please them. Nothing girly, shows we can just be played, but...all though it could distract them and nothing strong, too intimtating," She stopped and sipped at her drink. Sending drinks over had become a science and it was quite well with her. She looked over at the girl and chuckled slightly.
"To tell you the truth, I would have gone after you when you came in, but I see your eyes on the big boys and i'm slightly jealous of them"

Hephzibah took a sip of her drink and thought for a second. Captain and coke seemed a bit out of their league and beer seemed all to common. She bit her lip slightly before speaking. "What about Pepsi and vodka? It's just a bit better than coke and rum and from the looks of it they are beer men. Which you can tell a lot about a man by what type of beer he drinks." It was true. Then again Hephzibah had been around the block for years upon years. She could read a man in an instant.
"To tell you the truth, I would have gone after you when you came in, but I see your eyes on the big boys and i'm slightly jealous of them" The cold face of the demon blushed. It wasn't often that woman ever told her that. In fact she didn't think anyone ever told that. Usually the women would be so lost in the song that they didn't realize what was happening to them. "Aww sugar I'm very flattered. Really I am. But there are things about me that you don't really know." And you really don't want to know about it, she thought to herself. "But don't worry sugar, men come and men go. A couple of those guys probably won't live to see another day." Her lips pursed into an evil grin.

Callie nodded along with her, trying to hold off drinking to be slightly sober for the nights events. Her confindence was bobbing up down trying not to drown in her mind, plus she probably was already looking like a fool. Their eyes were already staring almost as they could sense the thoughts in her mind. Never did she feel so strange, so---dirty.
"Aww sugar I'm very flattered. Really I am. But there are things about me that you don't really know."
The sincerity sounded true at least and helped Callie feel a little powerful in all honestly. She could say all she want, and Cal’s would keep on wanting to flirt with her, no matter the lost cause. “I’ve heard that before,” She smirked and stirred the ilquid. "But don't worry sugar, men come and men go. A couple of those guys probably won't live to see another day." Shame she thought, looking over at the guys, some were sexy and would die to be with Hezi and who knows maybe literally. She chuckled at the thought and motioned to the bartender. “Pepsi and Cokes to the 3 table in the back and you can get yourself one,” Callie smirked and winked at him and leaned against the glass.

She loved how Callie just took charge and order the drinks. Usually Hephzibah was all over it but she wanted this girl to learn a few things. After all what was there in having all this knowledge on the opposite sex and not being able to share it with anyone. Hephzibah grinned at the bartender. "Thank you love." She winked at the bartender as she slipped him another twenty. The rest of the night the girls would be in good company. Turning her attention over to Callie, she smiled. "Now we wait, let them get their drinks and then smile, play hard to get and then bam before you know it." That evil grin came back.
The men were served their drinks. Hephzibah could tell from the corner of eye but she didn't once look at straight at them. Because it was game. It was all game to Hephzibah. One that was played well and often. She looked right into Callie's eyes. "You want to play a little game?"

"Now we wait, let them get their drinks and then smile, play hard to get and then bam before you know it."
Her senses were beating like crazy like her heart would if it was still beating. A smooth steady breath came out and she took a sip of her drink and set it down, pushing the glass away on the table. The girls grin was starting to make Callie itch and she didn’t know why. It was something weird—unnatural. Oh the temptation to ask her what she was. The things that stroll New York at night.
She could the waitress serve the boys their drinks and could feel it in her bones how excited they were. The curiousty was peaking and their eyes…well if she could only see them. Then something was pulling her. Turning her head slowly, she looked to see Hezi staring deep into her eyes.
"You want to play a little game?"
Callie smiled and nodded slowly. “Yes,” It was a breath of a voice, somehow she forgot how to speak, how to form sentences and it was all in her mind.

Her head leaned in closer into Callie's as their foreheads touched. "Don't move your head. Why? Guys think it's hot when girls make out but since they can't see us, they will want to move closer and come over here." The chase. The game was in motion and it wasn't about to slow down. It was important to have fun. She didn't want Callie to be bored. She had to spice up this night. "And when they come over here, we ignore them. Drives them crazy until we turn around and slam them with attention."
She moved her head away from Callie's making it look like she just came away from kiss. She didn't want to kiss the girl even though she thought it would be a nice refreshing change. But part of her was scared to in case she killed her. Sirens were known for their kiss of death. She didn't want to kill her. Callie was becoming a friend and she was really starting to like her company. It had been a long time since she enjoyed anyone's company.

Callie sucked in a breath watching her carefully. This girl was good, obviously a real escort if she could. God, she wanted to kiss her, just to feel it, but it would be awkward and this girl was cool…I can’t believe I just used that term. She closed her eyes and felt the pressure from her forehead. She leaned in closer and arched her neck, making the illusion hopefully more real. Hezi moved back and Callie had only the option to lean back too.
"And when they come over here, we ignore them. Drives them crazy until we turn around and slam them with attention."
“Genius” Cal’s mumbled, leaning in closer. Why not-hell she should have a real prize for the night. Putting a hand on the side of Hezi’s head, grinned and leaned into her lips. “Forgive me, but hell, it’s a bit too tempting. Plus, your playing the game against me if I don’t, “She leaned to her lips and kissed her lightly. Her lips started…whats the word… buzz. It was a slight vibration and it was starting to tingle till it felt like a burn. Callie quickly pulled away and looked at her in a daze. “Wow…your talented,” Only one thought came to Callie and that was, Professional Hooker.
