Gioia smiled at Charlie and Tatiana. "See the Parthenon isn't that bad. Trust me we..." Gioia paused. The last time she used a vampire reference, the girl looked like she had seen a ghost and totally uncomfortable. "...play nice. Don't we Miss Andrews?" That seemed just a little bit safer verse bite often. As Tatiana pointed to the red headed girl, Gioia shrugged her shoulders. All she heard were rumors about that girl nothing set in stone. Usually Gioia would be heavy on the gossip filling Tatiana in on everything but with Charlie standing right there, she didn't want to look like busy body. "Keeps to herself mostly. I believe her name is Olivia." And if the grape vine is right, has a kid too, Gioia thought to herself. The thought of children made Gioia sick to her stomach. In her mind all babies did was eat, sleep, poop, and cry. She had already told herself she wasn't having any children at all. She didn't want them, someone else could have them.

"Olivia." She repeated the name and smiled, not recognizing she was staring at the redhead blatantly. She looked nervous too, and the immediate compassion the brunette felt for her was an unusual sensation. Still, Tatiana wasn't about to complain; it felt kind of nice.
Her eyes strayed to Charlie once more, shoving her hand into her pocket to hide the tremor that had begun there. "How long have you worked at the school? It seems nice. I worked hard to get here." She glanced to Gioia, waiting for her to slip away once she realized Tatiana was a scholarship student. After all, this girl seemed to have class and money.

When the teacher gestured for her to come over to them, Olivia decided to try to calm down and talk to the small group of women. Gathering her stuff in her arms, she walked over to Charlie, Tatiana, and Gioia. She could feel a blush creep into her cheeks, but tried to ignore it. These women might be nice and she did need to make friends to get through the school year without trouble. Taking a deep breath, she said quietly, "Hi, I'm Olivia."

As Tatiana mentioned she worked hard to get into this school, Gioia would have smiled politely and walked away but she was too interested in Olivia to realize that Tatiana was exactly where Gioia was six years ago. Although lies were what covered her past of exactly where she was from. She didn't want anyone to know exactly where and how she grew up. When Olivia finally made her way her over, Gioia put her on her smile as the girl introduced herself. "Nice to formally meet you. I'm Gioia." She looked over at Tatiana and Charlie as if waiting for them to introduce themselves.

"Nice to meet you, too, Gioia," Olivia said, smiling a little. She wondered what this popular girl was thinking. At her last school, Liv never saw cheerleaders hang out with girls like herself and Tatiana. Usually, they stayed with jocks and other cheerleaders. Maybe Gioia's different from those kids. Who knows, she thought to herself as she looked down at the steps she was standing on. I'm definitely not going to ask her.

"I've been working here for only a few months, but I can tell you that this school," She said, sweeping her hand in a wide gesture. "Will get you anywhere in life," She was giving the usual teacher speech that all teachers gave about this school. She knew it to be true, of course, but she didn't want to tell them what she really thought, which was that she'd rather be in some dark and probably scary looking bar, serving bikers and the stragglers who sometimes rolled in. She was more at home there. Here, she was definitly not herself. Rather than wearing a button up white shirt, and slacks, seh would be in her favorite pair of thrashed jeans, and some tee shirt that she had gotten at one place or another, most likely from her mothers old tee shirt box. The smile on her face hid it all though. To be in the orginization, you had to know how to act.
"Ah, yes Miss. Henderson, we all try to play nice anyhow," She laughed, her laugh had a smokey ring to it.

Gioia threw her raven hair back answering Charlie. "Try is an over statement isn't it? I mean it's like we are total monsters." Never mind that was most teenage girls with hormones. They were all vicious monsters. It's like they were little monsters. Girls could be more of a monster then boys could. After all a stab in the back from a girl hurt more then catching a boyfriend cheating. Gioia turned her attention towards Olivia after all she wanted to know if it was true that she had a child. It seemed unrealistic. Then again that was her own mother, pregnant at 16 and now living like she was 21 since she gave up her prime party years to raise Gioia. "So do tell Olivia is it true that you have a kid?" Blunt and to the point. No beating around the bush about it. That's who she was.

When Gioia asked her this, she looked up at the cheerleader and tried to hide the paniced look on her face. She didn't want people to know about Trisha, at least not at school. She wanted to be normal somewhere in her life, but she supposed she couldn't. Taking a deep breath, Olivia said, "Yes, I have a three month old daughter named Trisha. What's it to you?"

She knew the girl was on guard and smiled, glancing to Gioia "Three months old? She sounds sweet. Why pick the name Trisha?" That usually got most women talking. Her gaze moved back to Charlie "Why'd you pick here to work? Not the stupid teacher answer, really." She had never been much for protocol, or the 'teacher student' boundary line. If she wanted to know something, then the girl went out and asked it. No use in sugar coating it.

"It is my baby's grandmother on her father's side," Olivia said, remembering her ex-boyfriend and his family. She missed him so much. If only she could get in touch with him somehow. Coming back to the present, she forced herself to not think about him and instead concentrated on what Charlie would say next. At least she had something to think about besides her past.

She watched the girls talking, about to edge away, until the girl who looked like she was waiting form someone to appear in front of her and scream that they were the boogie man, asked her a question.
she thought about it. most students would not be so blunt and to teh point with her, specially because of the certain pricle on the backs of the kneck of the people that looked at her, knowing she was not...a normal person, like they knew that she was dangerous. She smiled, a seemingly sweet smile, with an edge to it.
"This job, I took it because..." She led off, looking for a way to tell thr truth, yet...not. "I took this job because it's what my father wanted,"

For some reason Gioia didn't feel like Charlie's answer was the answer she wanted to hear. After all Charlie was probably one of the only teachers she liked at the Parthenon, or at least that she respected. It was rare for Gioia to actually like a teacher. "Really your father wanted you take this job? I never knew that."
In her back pocket she felt her cell phone go off. In an instant she whipped it out. She read the text from her friend Leon and then looked up at the rest of the girls. "Tatiana, been a pleasure. Need any help finding anything anywhere, don't hesitate. And Charlie I'll see you in drama later. But this..." her blue eyes glanced down at her phone, "...is my parting. Ciao." And with a turn of her heel she headed into the building to go look for Leon since his text sounded very urgent.

Tatiana listened dutifully, glancing to Gioia as she left with a weak smile "Bye." This girl had a phone. Almost all teens had a phone, true enough, but the luxury of it was still surprising to the girl. She turned her head back to the others quickly, nodding to Charlie and then turning her head to Olivia "Who's the father?" She didn't seem to care about prying into personal relationships, or the effect that would have on the person questioned.
What she did care about, though, was that the shaking was growing worse. She could feel it moving up her arms, locking them at her sides to attempt to still the tremors. Going off the medicine right before school started was not as good an idea as it first seemed, apparently.
